Pretty misleading
On the map they show they are located beachfront. This was wildly incorrect. They actually pointed it at a report named Banana Azul. I have never had to track down an owner to get check in information. We drove over from the pacific side and I never recv’d check in instructions. For 3 hours prior to the check in, I was trying to contact them thru this site and their personal contact info. It was frustrating that we had to park somewhere for a while once we were in town until we f ally reached someone. When we finally got a hold of him, he was very short and advised us the keys will be in the door of the room we’re staying in (this was a multi unit complex). When we got there we were greeted by a friendly woman with a screaming baby who didn’t ask us our names, etc and said she thought we were in #7, but may be #4. We went to that room and yes, there was a/c in the room however the controller was covered in thick tape so we couldn’t lower it. No exaggeration it was cooler outside. I see they may be trying.. but don’t be deceptive. We left there and went to the first resort. It was gorgeous and literally $26 more. Please don’t take this review as someone who doesn’t realize where they were traveling to. I’ve been all over CR in all types of places and rentals for the past 7 weeks and have stayed at 5 places and those all got 4.8/5 star reviews. However, it is the first/last time I stay somewhere without reviews. So with that, consider yourself warned.
