This iconic property was built in the 1930s and has been in the same family for generations. Affectionately known as Big House, this property has stunning views of Crystal Lake in the foreground and Lake Michigan and Great Bear Dunes in the distance. The expansive outdoor patio provides for leisurely meals and taking in world class sunsets from “the top of the world.” The charming town of Frankfort and its wonderful Lake Michigan beach is a five minute drive through an enchanting forest. The home was recently refreshed with new furniture in many rooms, new mattresses and linens throughout, and a fresh coat of paint upstairs. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, multiple families can gather and enjoy idyllic Crystal Lake and Frankfort.

What makes this property unique
Construction of Big House began in 1933. Graves bought the ceiling beams when they tore down the grandstands of the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair and the brick from the McCormick factory, and shipped them here via chain-driven truck. Workers used blow torches and steel wool on the wall paneling to enhance the grain of the wood
