Through the door to the Loft Bedroom, you'll find a queen size bed, standard closet and open shelving storage space.
On the ground floor of the home, there is a handy ski rack on the outdoor cement patio. Once inside, the entertainment room, hallway, and bathroom are all newly renovated with fresh flooring and furnishings. The entertainment room features a couch and a television with space for taking off and storing coats and boots. Down the hallway, the Ground Floor Bedroom offers a plush and cozy, queen size bed and a large closet. The Ground Floor Bathroom has a large 4 foot vanity and a tile-surround tub/shower. The laundry closet has a full size washer and dryer available for guest use, so there's no need to waste precious vacation time making trips to the laundromat in town!
The large, elevated deck of the home overlooks the South Platte River, where there is comfortable outdoor seating for lounging the sunny days away and a propane BBQ grill for cooking up your summertime favorites. The new lower cement patio features a Bull-Frog hot tub ready and waiting for relaxation with fantastic views.
Placer Valley is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe moose, elk, deer and foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Just please don't feed or approach the wild animals!
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "base camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.
