SCAM ALERT! DO NOT RENT !

No probs finding this spot for our eclipse run to Dallas. Early communication was good, all seemed okay. The trouble began at check-in with one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag and the A/C didn't work. We, immediately, contacted the Square House Property Management group who promised to have everything fixed, post-haste. Well, that NEVER happened. There must have been 2 dozen phone-calls to them during the course of 36 hours to rectify the multiple problems. We even asked a person employed by the property to fix the AC--he had never been contacted by the Management 2 days after our initial complaint. It STILL didn't get fixed! We had multiple conversations with Mina and Amanda but they were, apparently, unable to get a response from their vendors. The Company people working at the venue refused to help, saying they only dealt with long-term renters. We finally said we were leaving after another, hot, sleepless, A/C-less night. Told them were leaving before the mandated 10 AM and vacating the third night. They said they would refund that money. Now, they don't take calls or texts. We have filed complaints with our bank, the Dallas C of C, the criminal and civil courts and now, VRBO. BE WARNED! VRBO, SQUARE HOUSE PROPERTY MANAGMENT, THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY are scamming you with this property. DO NOT RENT !!!
