Great place to stay in the Hayward area. Beautiful lake views and really great home/cabin. Host could not be more gracious and really great guy to deal with. Would highly recommend staying there!!

Everything was clean and ready for us. We had great communication with the host before and during our stay. The lake was perfect for our littles as it is on a quieter end of the lake with not a lot of traffic.

We spent the month of June on Round Lake in Peter’s cabin. It couldn’t have worked out better! Cabin was exactly as advertised and handled our family with adult kids and grandchildren well. Hayward also provided everything we needed for entertainment and food and shopping. Musky Fest was amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable, cozy, and a great place to relax. The lake was absolutely beautiful—crystal clear with incredible sandbars that made swimming and spending time on the water a highlight of our trip. Pete was also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.A couple of things to keep in mind: if you plan to do a lot of cooking, you may want to bring a few kitchen essentials, as the cookware and supplies are fairly basic. The cabin is also a bit older and has a heavily wooded lot rather than a traditional grassy yard. If you're expecting a brand-new, modern lake home, this may not be the right fit. However, we felt it offered good value for the price.Overall, we had a terrific trip and would stay here again.
