During snowy months, 4WD or AWD is required. The driveway is flat and plowed, and the gravel road leading to the lodge is well maintained for smooth, stress-free winter access.

Security & Wildlife Awareness

Exterior cameras monitor the driveway, stairs, parking area, propane tank, side yard, and greenbelt for guest safety and wildlife awareness. No interior cameras.

Stairs Required

Entry to the home and access between levels require stairs. The layout may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Fire Bans

During periods of dry or windy conditions, the Village of Angel Fire, Colfax County, or the State of New Mexico may implement temporary fire bans to reduce wildfire risk. When a fire ban is in effect, use of the outdoor Solo Stove is not permitted. Since these restrictions can change, hosts will notify you upon arrival if a ban is in place.
