Praise for Black Bear Cabin - Angel Fire

Beautiful property in a wooded area with a great view. Everything you could possibly need was supplied (especially if you plan on cooking)! Owner was very accommodating and we all loved our Thanksgiving getaway. Would rent again!

Another great stay

Second time at this property and it is truly as described. Great location, extremely clean, well stocked, great privacy, and great responsiveness from the owners. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking in the Angel Fire, NM area. You will not be disappointed.

Great cabin with amazing views!

We love the Angel Fire Resort area and this home is spacious and lovely. The views from the house, deck, and secret tree house are amazing! The home is very well-equipped and had everything we need. In addition, the owners are super nice and quick to respond to communication. Definitely a top notch place!

Amazing Property

The perfect family getaway in the mountains. Beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped. This is one of the most welcoming properties we have rented, with plenty of gathering spaces for all ages. Easy access to Angel Fire as well as the other activities in Red River, Taos & our favorites fishing destinations. We are definitely planning a return trip.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful view!

I had a wonderful time with my family during our vacation here! The cabin was gorgeous and the decor was charming. There's a large outdoor deck where I enjoyed stargazing every night (you can see every star in the sky!). The kitchen (and the cabin overall) had everything you could think of. There was plenty of space in the cabin, and the wall of windows in the main area of the house offered an amazing view of Angel Fire. I highly recommend staying here - loved every minute of it!

Natural beauty

Beautifully done -- one of the best views we've encountered. Enjoyed the cool mountain air in the midst of summer. Very private setting where we enjoyed seeing wildlife-- deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and a black bear! Nice spacious space for us and our adult children to enjoy!

Gorgeous - Just gorgeous !

This is the place to stay if you want a gorgeous view! The upstairs master suite is so well appointed. We really enjoyed the covered deck and ate every meal out there. We shared our meals with the little chipmunk that lived nearby too! We Would love to come back - but we purchased our own piece of paradise while staying this summer!

What a treat!

This is a beautiful, clean home with a view that goes on and on. We spent the cool mornings relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery. The house is nicely decorated and the master suite is spacious. Just about five miles to town and closer to Country Club which is open to the public. Nice stay; hope to be back!

The cabin was awesome. Excellent layout. Very well decorated. Plenty of room for us to spread out. The fireplace was an excellent feature for the cold nights. Everything was there that we needed to cook with. We had a great time. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Dream retreat!!!

This amazing mountain home was a dream retreat. Very spa like master bathroom, beautiful mountain view but close to the lake, golf course and dining! Fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds!!!! Enjoyed the deck hummingbirds, deer and chipmunks. We didn't want to leave!!!! We loved it and can't wait to come back

We were very impressed. Beautiful home with everything we needed. What an enjoyable trip with our three sons and their spouses. This particular trip the snow wasn't great, but the accomadations were. Thank you for sharing your house with us. Very clean and comfortable.
