Host did not send keypad entry code. I sent four messages, through the VRBO app, over the course of 5-6 hours asking for the code with no response. I went to the rental to inquire with another building resident and she also could not reach the host. I had to book a hotel for the night, or drive 4 hours home and miss the second day of my business conference.
Great location. Affordable, clean and cozy little place to share with my friends. It was a great spot to rest and cleanup whilst we explored Kingston. Just a stone throw away from the restaurants, bars and waterfront, in downtown.
Also loved the nice business area to take out my laptop to do some quick work.
I 100% recommend this place to everyone and I will stay here again whenever I'm in Kingston.
my stay was very good. everything was correct. I would not hesitate to return

Do not stay here. We did not receive the code to enter the apartment, even after the check-in time. After hours on the phone with VRBO, I finally got the code. Upon arrival, we found cockroaches and decided to find a hotel to stay at instead. The owner was very rude and dismissive of our claims, despite photo evidence.
The living space, kitchen and eating area was too small for more than 2 people and not comfortable to sit around and visit. The pictures were not misleading, just not enough of them to understand the space. Also the bathroom was small, very old, the tap was broken, and the shower looked scary. We ended up leaving and going to a different accomodation, even though we lost money by doing so.

Problem getting in
I did not get the instructions or code for the electronic key before arriving despite making several requests online. IU had to contact VBRO consumer service by phone. He mediated the transfer of the information, but only after I found a place downtown with free wifi to connect.
Once in, the place was ok - very like the cheap attic suite I for $20 a month in university.
It had all the appliances to live comfortably, a pleasant shower, towel, instant coffee, paper towels, a broom.
The TV did not work, nor did the wifi.
