This lovely log home is the primary home of the hosts, Elizabeth and Rocky, when not available for renting and looks it. Built by Rocky, a master craftsman, it has many handcrafted touches, wonderful decor, and is spotless. The location is ideal for what we were there for - fishing the Madison! Elizabeth even gave us eggs from her own chickens, which came in handy one night for dinner as we fished til after sunset, which comes around 9:30pm this time of year. Our group of 5 had a wonderful time and would go back in a heartbeat.
Rocky and Elizabeth are amazing people. We got a warm friendly greeting from minute one. The property is exactly as described, and if i could, i would give 11 out of 10 for everything! The beds are super comfortable, the water toasty for showers and the kitchen is well stocked. It is a perfect venue to visit the geysers of Yellowstone. The view from the property is stunning too. The whole property is super clean and we all are missing it terribly now we have had to leave.

The pleasure was certainly our's. I enjoyed meeting all of your "party"! And, of course, the British accents! We love our international guests. They bring so much "flavor" to Montana!
Property owners were as nice as could be. They checked on us to see if we needed anything and were there to wish us well when we left. The home was very comfortable and was everything that we anticipated. We would give the property owners and the home a 10 if possible.
We stayed for four nights celebrating my 60th birthday. Both of my daughters came with their families to help celebrate. Rocky and Elizabeth were very accommodating and friendly. The family loved their conversations with Rocky and we appreciated his tips to what to do locally. The home was very comfortable and supplied everything we needed for a most memorable stay. It was located a little out in the middle of nowhere but east to get to places!

Awesomeness!!
Our families stayed at this wonderful home for four nights and couldn't have been happier. The cabin was clean, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The owners couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating with everything we needed.
I don't know if I'd ever be back in that part of the country, but I would definitely stay here again!!
Everything you need for a family fun vacation. Very well equipped kitchen .
Very comfortable and relaxing inside and
Out . Little far from shopping, we shopped
At Costco in Bozeman on the way in and
Only needed to run into town once for some
Items and we did that while taking kids to the rodeo
We were very pleased with our stay
The place is beautiful, hands down. It was just me, my husband and our daughter, so we had more space than we needed, but we enjoyed having the opportunity to spread out and lounge a little bit. The hosts are very friendly, and one of them, Rocky, built the place! There are a lot of fun touches and decorations all about. Good kitchen space, lots of cooking utensils and pots, etc. They even gave us 18 fresh eggs and helped in an emergency with some rice to round out our meal on evening #1 (didn't plan for how far the grocery is....it's very far!)
The views are amazing, too, really stunning. We were a bit socked in w/ haze from Western fires, but got some semi-clear days too.
It is a long drive to Yellowstone, all told. It is only 40 min or so to the West Entrance, but then it takes another 30 min to get into the park to places you will likely want to see and stop. But, I am VERY glad we stayed here vs in West Yellowstone, which is very touristy and crowded. Lovely place for a big group!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We appreciated the lovely and remote location, the very well-equipped kitchen, the spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds, and the great hosts.
This was a terrific house out in beautiful country. It was very convenient to Yellowstone Park. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The owners, who were on site were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We recommend this property to anybody who wants a Yellowstone and Montana experience.

A wonderful place to stay!
What a beautiful setting for a beautiful home! The house was clean, comfortable and attractive. Close to Yellowstone, but a nice distance from the crowds - so it was a great place to relax and enjoy family time.
Rocky and Elizabeth are the perfect hosts - friendly and knowledgeable. We hope to stay there again!
Perfect place for a family vacation at Yellowstone
This property is just amazing - great view, very quiet, super clean and organized, comfy beds, very well equipped kitchen. and a much pleasant living room. We loved talking with the property owner- -Rocky- he knows everything about the area and his life stories are a pleasure to listen to. . The kids enjoyed every minute of staying here!!!
Sharing the laundry is ok, but we had to work around the manager doing her laundry. So would have to stay up late to finish our laundry for the next day. Also came back one day to just warm water to take showers, the hot water heater is shut off during the day hours.
Other is a nice home to stay at, beautiful, and peaceful.

Relaxing stay close to Yellowstone
We so enjoyed our week at Rocky and Elizabeth's beautiful log home. They live on-site so are there as guides and hosts along with their friendly outdoor pets. The house has a well-equipped and spacious kitchen that made it easy to cook meals. When the weather cooperates, there is lovely outdoor space to enjoy as well. The home is beautifully crafted, and the beds are comfortable. The location makes you feel like you're out under the Big Sky and has easy access to some beautiful, untrafficked hiking trails. But it's close enough for easy driving into Yellowstone and to towns for groceries.

A dream home to stay in the wilderness.
The house is more charming than what the photo can show.
When we were driving towards the house, we couldn't believe how grand and stunning the views are around it. If you are looking for a really get away in the nature, this is it!
The house is very well prepared. It's super clean, well equipped, comfortable, and very spacious. Rocky and Elizabeth are the best host anyone could ask for. We even received a fresh dozen of eggs came from
their chicken.
If I have to plan another trip in this area, this is the house I will choose again. Thank you for this beautiful house.
