This house was perfect for our family getaway. Sleeps 7 very comfortably. Great porch view of the Delaware River. Large round table allows for game nights or shared meals. Everything we need was there.
We had a lovely time at this property! The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We had three adults and two children in our group, and we had plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. We loved walking to Homestead Coffee in the mornings for coffee and breakfast, and enjoyed Descendants for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
The house was cute and the owner was very friendly and helpful! Only complaint was that the kitchen was a bit small, but we made it work. The house was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. We'd definitely stay there again!
This was the perfect location for us as we spent the weekend catching up with friends in the area. The house was clean, comfortably and no amenity was lacking. Nice short walks into town and a close drive to all the area has to offer.
The house was as shown in pictures. Very clean, and organized. We booked for 2 nights, however because of a flight cancellation, we ended staying only on e night.
Lovely house with a beautiful porch to sit and listen to all the birdsong. Almost daily pass through from deer. The home was comfortable. Old house so there floors creak, but very quaint. All the comforts of the new. Everything is very well marked as far as general instructions.
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Milford House. Has everything you need and the new master bedroom mattress is comfy! Such a charming house situated right on the river. We’ll be back.
Such a cozy and heartwarming spot. Just a short stay with family, bringing my mother to rest in nearby N.J. My brother has a house across the river, and could not fit everyone visiting, and this was a perfect sport just a few minutes away from him. The home is lovely and was absolutely perfect for us. Milford is SUCH a great little town, the people are lovely and welcoming and this house is a perfect fit for it all. I will look forward to staying again. That front porch in the warmer seasons is no doubt a slice of heaven.
Very cute and sweet old neighborhood. If walls could talk, house is full of character and history. Excellent bakery just down the street, great running trails, parking for 1 vehicle.
Lots of spices, but could use better pans for eggs etc.
The accommodations were fine. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was somewhat confusing. Upstairs we couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so we put the temperature at 78. Downstairs you can barely read the screen. We tried to shut it off. Not sure if that occurred.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
We have stayed in this area a few times before and love the location. The beds were comfortable and there were enough for all of us, which we appreciated. That said, there were some areas that needed attention. The pots and pans were worn and rusted, and there were no pot holders available or sponge to wash dishes. We also noticed quite a bit of dust and spider webs, and the lighting throughout the space was very dim. There was no iron or hangers for clothing, which made it difficult to unpack and settle in. On top of that, the TV wasn't working, so we sat in silence for two out of our three nights. Communication with the owners was also not great, which added to the frustration.Overall, while the location and sleeping arrangements were good, the lack of amenities, cleanliness concerns and the broken TV significantly affected our stay. I do feel that some compensation would be appropriate for the inconvenience we experienced.
The house was just as listed. 3 bedrooms, new memory foam mattress in the master. Kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils etc. basic spices, lots of coffee and a few little extras- even some cream in the fridge. Local guide books in living room, nice decorations- kinda had a “I inherited great aunt Tilly’s house and furniture but I decorated it with some new items as well” vibe. Owner was very communicative, answered questions on restaurants and local spots. Was very clean, had a washer and dryer, plenty of hot water. We had our dog with us, hardwood floors with throw rugs were nice for that. Stairs are kinda steep if u have issues or have little kids, but not a problem for us. Would stay again if in the area.
