Family Celebration

We enjoyed our two night stay to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. The house was spacious and laid out nicely to accomodate our family. The grandchildren really enjoyed playing ping pong and catching small fish off the dock.

Great in every way

We had a great stay here. It was my wife and I and our 3 kids and they each brought a friend. The home had so much room for everyone. From sleeping arrangements to seating to dining options, inside and out, it was a really great fit. This home isn’t the stereotypical short term rental (sterile and void of personality) and it had trash bags, paper towels, some spices, kitchen utensils and more so it felt more home’ish and comfortable. We had a really great stay.

Quiet Fun Place

The Dog-Friendly house was in a great location for our family reunion/vacation. It is an older home, and the inside was clean when we arrived. We had 9 adults and 2 children (5 & 1). It was nice to have a place where every adult got a queen or king size bed (and still have a full size bunk for the 5 year old). The docks were great for fishing and swimming. We rented a boat and had no problems pulling into the dock for the nights. The house was dry during the heavy rain, and it was comfortable for the entire family. We had plenty of room for meals around the dining table, the living room watching the Olympics, and the sun room for family games. We enjoyed the ping-pong table and the air hockey table (which I don't think actually blew air). The hot tub was nice for relaxing. There was plenty of cooking and eating utensils, plates, coffee cups, and glasses. I would give the House an overall 5-star rating except the well was dry when we arrived, and it was dry again on our last full day. (Both times were due to storms I believe.). There are also no curtains in the upstairs rooms, which let in a lot of sun early in the morning. The smoke detecters also went off consistently on our last full day. The place needed some repair work and cleaning around the outside, but it didn't deter us from enjoying the house.

Thank you Michelle for your generous review. We are glad you were able to enjoy a nice family reunion at the home. Again I truly apologize for the water well situation. The homeowners plan on putting in another water reserve tank. We will also need to lower our the occupancy of the home due to the continued well issues since it does not appear the current well can handle the volume of guest we had projected. This is our first year with the rental so we have learned alot with the newly acquired property. As you the know the home is also for sale and the homeowners actually will be doing some much needed repairs. The home is actually under contract so we will be honoring current guest, but will no longer be hosting new guests at the potential new homeowners request. Thank you again for your feedback as it is important to ensure our future guest have a 5 star stay!
