Our beautiful scenery on the Lamar peninsula of Rockport is a combination of pasture land, oak trees, wildlife, and of course water views of St. Charles Bay. When you stay with us October-the end of March you can also expect full-day views of the Texas inland population of Whooping Cranes. Fishing, kayaking, and bird watching are activities enjoyed all year long.
This modern, clean, and spacious 2022 Jayco 295BHS travel trailer offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay including porch steps, kitchenette, sleeping quarters, and bathroom with a LARGE shower! Located on our property in Lamar just off St. Charles Bay, it's a beautiful setting convenient to Rockport and Port Aransas, but off the beaten path.
The camper is nearly brand new. The property is clean, private, safe, and well-maintained. The location could not be better! Unobstructed view of St. Charles Bay. Convenient yet secluded. The most beautiful sunrises in Texas. A small RV camp with only four sites on the property.
Access to the entire travel trailer and surrounding grounds during your stay.
This big camper sleeps four to six most comfortably with additional beds available by rearranging the dining table and pulling out the sofa bed. Kids love the bunks!
We recently added porch steps for easier entry.
We have an enclosure for our dogs and can keep ours kenneled if needed to make you and your pet's time here more comfortable.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

A real treat to stay in, right by the heart of the whooping crane migration. Tim was very personable and helpful with tips about whooper locations and other local attractions, restaurants, etc. Hope to soon follow the cranes back here!
My sons and I stayed two nights on a quick trip to come fishing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The host gave great recommendations for the area. Highly recommend!

So glad you had a great stay! We look forward to hosting you again!
We stayed in this RV over the weekend and it was very pleasant. They had extra slips for the in-laws to bring their trailer so we could be near. The trailer was flawless inside, and the host family is very helpful. This space is across the bridge from Rockport but it was not a big deal to drive into town.

Smell of fumes from the toilet were horrible. Been in an RV before and never was that an issue. Host was nice but at first made me feel like I was the problem, but then everything was resolved.

Unfortunately Roxanne’s daughter held open the toilet flap that allows gasses to come up from the holding tank. Her mother also had mobility issues that we weren’t aware of which made it all but impossible for her to maneuver in and around the RV. Our listing photos clearly show the space in the RV and the stairs to get inside. We helped Roxanne get a full refund with VRBO which she wouldn’t have been able to do on her own. When choosing a space to stay, please consider all the members of your family and the challenges that a listing may present. We’re happy to report all of our other reviews for the RV are excellent.
