Thank you for mentioning air conditioning. The great thing about of our home is we've got great environmentally friendly air conditioning. We've upgraded our home with SUPER DENSE insulation to keep it nice and cool all day long on those warmer summer days. (and boy is works great!) As we recommend to our guests, keep the windows closed (just as you would with electric air conditioning) during those warm days so our home WILL stay nice and cool upon your arrival back after a fun day out. Another "cool" thing to note is our home is situated in the perfect location where an awesome cool coastal breeze blows all the warm air out of the valley in the evenings allowing for a nice cool home and a perfect summer night sleep. (this breeze is also perfect for cooling the vineyards which makes for awesome wine grapes.
Our home is also equip with ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Absolutely no need for electric air conditioning. What a blessing. :)
Denise was an amazing host and the house was absolutely fantastic for our girls trip! The backyard was perfect for relaxing and catching up, we loved having the bikes available, and Miss Morgan was a big bonus :) We would definitely come back!!

Great outdoor space
This was a great house for a group, though one bed is a full not queen. The outdoor bathroom was ok. Sonoma requires a lot of paperwork, so be prepared to submit paperwork for every guest.

We're so glad our guests love our place and were happy to accommodate last minute added guests within the 6 guest maximum. Since the fires, guest safety in the valley has definitely been heightened.
We are grateful for the new safety regulations as well as the need to know exactly who is in the house for emergency purpose. We hope all the extra amenities we offer make up for the addl safety document required at booking.
We loved our stay so much we will will be back. I loved how everything in the house was marked. It was Clean and amenities galore. The hosts have thought of everything possible. Even a book of things to do in Napa and Sonoma. The location was perfect. Truly 5 stars! Thank you.

Cute and quiet farmhouse!
We had a great stay, two moms and three adult daughters. Just enough space to be comfortable and spend time together. The outdoor spaces are lovely and we enjoyed dinner at the front porch table. Loved the bathrobes and enjoyed lounging in them in the mornings. Road in front is quiet and we enjoyed early morning walks every morning. Highly recommend!

Sonoma couples trip
We just got back from Sonoma and a stay at this home. We loved it! The house is clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and very helpful! We had no trouble getting Uber or Lyft rides from this location, just 5-10 minutes from downtown. We liked having a peaceful place to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine, enjoying the perfect weather.
We would absolutely stay again!

Thank you for being such wonderful guests! Our door is always open to you. Hope to see you back very soon!
There was no pool on property nor did the listing say that there was. Beautiful property however there were so many restrictions, that we weren’t made aware of until the night before we were scheduled to arrive, we were unable to enjoy any outdoor spaces . Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.

The mention of a pool is a bit perplexing.
The only last-minute request was to keep the property gates closed to keep the deer out of our vineyard.
We’re sorry the weather affected your ability to enjoy the outdoor spaces—that’s unfortunately beyond our control. We always hope our guests can make the most of their stay, rain or shine.
We’re grateful for the dozens of 5-STAR reviews from past guests that reflect the memorable and restorative stays our visitors have enjoyed, something we prioritize with every visit.
From our countryside vineyard farmhouse, wishing all who stay with us la dolce vita—the sweet life!
Nurse reunion in Sonoma Valley.
The home was everything we had hoped for. Location close to all the Vineyards in Sonoma and only a 30min drive over to Napa. We loved the shopping and restaurants in Sonoma Plaza and hope to come back again soon. So many vineyards but not enough time.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. I would live in it full time if I could!
It is nestled between beautiful vineyards, and only 9 minutes from the Sonoma Plaza. We had three couples in our party, and it was very comfortable. The indoor space is cozy, and the outdoor seating areas are what Sonoma dreams are made of.
The owner was wonderful.
We will book again!

Nothing makes us happier than when our guests LOVE their stay! Our doors are open to make your Sonoma dreams come true!
Casa Vina was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while visiting Wine Country. My husband and I spent 5 nights there with close friends. The owners have thought of everything to accommodate guests. There are several areas to sit and relax while enjoying the surrounding scenery. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals and the bath has super soft towels. We especially enjoyed the front porch table, fire pit, and sound bar in the living room. We all appreciated the notes/labels as reminders while staying in such a clean and lovely home. Of course, we all enjoyed visiting Morgan, the donkey next door.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We're so grateful to meet and share our home with such wonderful people!
Please come back soon!
Casa Vina is perfectly situated for those who want to enjoy the best of both wine-country worlds. When you are at the casa, it feels like you’re in a rural sanctuary “far from the madding crowd.” Yet the bustling Sonoma Square is just a few minutes away by car. This charming farmhouse is in such a bucolic setting and is so cozy and peaceful and fully appointed that you almost don’t want to leave to visit the marvelous wineries that draw people from everywhere to the area. The good news is that all the delights of both Sonoma and Napa are easily accessible. You can enjoy them during the day and come “home” to relax in comfort, either outdoors or in, during the evenings. What more could one want? The little casa is as pictured and described, clean, artfully decorated, and comfortable. Denise was lovely to work with and a good time was had by all of us who stayed in her “happy place.”
Awesome property! Home is amazingly decorated, super cute retro kitchen, every amenity that you might need is there. Comprehensive catalog for anything you may or want to do in the area, dining, shopping, bike riding wine tours with trails and wineries in the area.
Denise, a great hostess and property manager. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would just want to point out, that the 2nd bathroom (beautiful and updated) is in an unattached building from the home. No heat in that room that we could find, and only 11 minutes of hot water, so during winter months was unusable for our family from San Diego and not used to really cold toilet seats!
We are looking forward to booking again in summer or fall to take full advantage of the outdoor property.

Thank you for your 5 star review! We just love sharing our vineyard home. ❤ We're sorry you missed seeing the heater in the vintage bathhouse. Its toasty warm when it's on, including the toilet seat :) We welcome you back anytime to enjoy our newly remodeled bathrooms and the vintage bathhouse overlooking the vineyard, as the real highlight.
Cheers until next time🥂
The property is even better than the write up and the reviews. From the time you pull up to the time you leave It’s fantastic. My wife was blown away.
The beds are comfortable and the home is extremely clean and the bikes are great. It’s a short easy ride into town. The fire pit made the nights comfortable and Morgan the donkey was the best.
The restaurants are all great. Especially Wit and Wisdom. Swiss hotel, Della Santina, Red Grape and Hop Monk.
Denise was extremely helpful with providing information all around. The resources were helpful. I found a host to set up tasting and to take us to the vineyards. Well worth the money. We will certainly be back. Thank you Denise!

About the host
Hosted by Denise Anagnostou
Yassou! We're native Californians of Greek and Italian descent who love baseball, old cars and undiscovered garage wines! Passionate about our professions of Real Estate and Kitchen and Bath Design, we've been blessed to have purchased and renovated this old house, turning it into our vacation home we call Casa Vina, our "happy place" in wine country.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of its location. We're located just a couple miles from the historic Sonoma Plaza with dozens of wineries within a 10 mile radius. Several within walking or biking distance. Our home is situated right in the middle of wine country.
What makes this property unique
Sonoma is known for it's laid back atmosphere. A few of our favorite things to do are riding the cruiser bikes around the countryside and into town, and watching the sunset from our outdoor dining table, with beautiful views of the rolling hills lined by the vineyards that surround us. Every season in Sonoma is so uniquely beautiful but Fall is our favorite... miles of vibrantly, colorful vineyards stretching over rolling hills as far as your eye can see. Simply gorgeous and truly breathtaking!
