Berkeley apartments

We were visiting Berkeley to meet our son. The apartment was great for two of us with lovely views of the bay. It had all the facilities we needed. It is about half an hour walk to downtown which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped. Our stay was very comfortable.

I read the reviews for these lovely hosts and their studio and knew this would be a good trip. In person it was even better! Easy communication, lovely studio, and Eli & Tal were such welcoming hosts. People have mentioned the apple crumble and I will tell you that it is delicious! And was still warm when I made my very late check in! Just little touches like this make this a special place to stay. As for practicalities, great location, easy to use transit or grab ride shares.wonderful neighborhood with lots of delicious restaurants and neat places to visit. (Check out the Berkeley Arts Center!) All in all for me, a perfect stay. I can’t wait to come back to the Bay to stay again! ♥️

Very nice stay in this apartment ideally located 2 minutes walk from the BART and 10 minutes walk from Target. Had everything we needed for a good stay. Really useful to have a good sized fridge freezer, excellent washing machine and dryer. The apartment came well supplied and was comfortable for two adults and two teens. Correspondence with the owner was good.

Great apartment with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Exactly as described. Close to BART and numerous restaurants. Nancy is a great host and is very responsive.

The property is very well-equipped, the washer/dryer is a big bonus to cut down on holiday washing! The garden is a peaceful haven. Everything was very clean and comfortable, with well stocked crockery and cutlery. Bob was a very gracious host. He lives in the apartment next door. Unobtrusive, but very helpful and happy to chat when needed some advice on where to go. Bob even had an hour to spare so drove us to the botanical gardens, giving is a guided tour along the way. The house itself is beautiful, it is about a ten minute walk to the BART station, but you can get a bus from across the road if you don't want to walk. Don't miss out on the artisanal bakery and coffee house just round the corner. There is also a Whole Foods and Walgreen's within ten minutes walking distance. It takes about 30 minutes, maybe less to get into San Francisco from the BART. Overall we loved staying here for a week, and were sad to leave. As a base for exploring, it is perfect. Hopefully see you again in a few years Bob!
