Looking at December and/or January 2025 for your winter getaway in Arizona? We are offering a very special 30% discount for the dates December 8th, 2024 - January 31st, 2025! Note: Minimum 30-day bookings only. We are a dog friendly home for your non or low shedding pet.

Our vacation townhome is located in a gated and quiet community within Dobson Ranch in West Mesa. It is pet friendly with lots of areas to walk them (and you!). There are even pet stations with complimentary doggie bags. We happily accept low or non-shedding dogs under 50 pounds with no separation anxieties.

You enter Lake Park Village by driving over a canal, into a community that is surrounded by the golf course on all three sides. Our townhome is located in a very unique and quiet setting, right on the #1 rated 18 Hole Dobson Ranch Golf Course, in West Mesa.

You will enjoy unique golf course views of the 16th fairway and 1960 square feet of living space. We know you will love our home and its carefully selected furnishings. We rent homes for our own vacations through VRBO and realize how important it is to properly "kit out" the kitchen. Your kitchen is a cook’s delight with a great selection of quality pots n' pans, cooking and baking tools plus sharp knives. It has all the quality details, including ice dispenser, brand new air fryer/toaster oven combo, Keurig machine (plus regular drip coffee maker), sandwich maker, rice cooker etc. Outside is a special order Weber bar-b-que with stainless steel grills making clean-up a snap.

Upstairs are two master bedrooms (King in main, Queen in 2nd), each with their own spacious walk-in closet and full bathroom. Each bedroom has quality black-out drapes and blinds. You will definitely get your shut eye!

On the lower "Great Room" level is a newer (late 2022) and very comfortable Lazyboy queen sofa bed (with a tempur-pedic mattress), perfect for visiting guests! The Great Room is finished with a 50" LG Smart TV, two leather ottomans and a modern recliner. Also on this level is an office area (two desk set ups) with a printer, another full bathroom and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Parked outside the laundry room are two coaster style bicycles including wicker baskets. Bring your helmets!

On the main level, the living room has a 55" OLED LG Smart TV plus a Bluetooth sound bar. There is a 43" LG Smart TV in the main master bedroom. YouTube TV is included with all TVs. Includes live and recordings from more than 85 television networks, including major networks. Bring your Netflix, Amazon or Hulu memberships. If you're feeling nostalgic, we have a great selection of DVD movies, courtesy of Blockbuster. High speed wireless available throughout the home.
As a mid term rental home, we provide coffee, laundry, dishwasher and bathroom starter kits to assist you as you settle in. Also a welcome gift from us!

Outdoor seating includes a lovely bistro set plus two rockers on the main floor deck plus two newer (late 2022) chaise loungers on the back patio outside the Great Room. Our home has central air conditioning and with wide overhangs and new screened sliding doors on both levels, there is limited direct sunlight, keeping the interior comfortable throughout the day. You have your own garage (with door opener) and a lovely private front courtyard. Extra parking is just steps away. Also nearby is the updated community pool.

The other perk of this home? It is a three-story end unit with only one unit beside (retirees), no units above or below. Very Quiet!

The owners thought of everything you could possibly require to make your stay like being at home. Cathy reached out to us shortly after we arrived to ask us if there was anything she could do, if she possibly forgot somnething. The townhome is in a great area, fun watchiung the neighbour next door feed the ducks. Fun watching golfers go by as they conversed with themselves. Ho,e was very clean, super well stockedm comfy beds.

Delightful at Dobson Ranch

The property is well-equipped, modern, and was ready for us to “move right in.”, i.,e., toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, and paper towels. Makes it easy to get your own things in a day or two and return the favor by leaving some behind. It is a comfortable condo … and the golf course view was really nice. The balcony is perfect for reading, breakfast, and rating golf swings. Golf course maintenance crews start early in the morning - so be ready to go by six … or lay in bed and realize you don’t have to cut your own grass - so lay there, smile, and go back to sleep when they finish after about 15 minutes. The water hazard comes equipped with fish, ducks, turtles, and the stray golf ball. The community pool is perfect for lounging or some exercise if so inclined. The water is heated, the pool is clean and gets to 8 foot depth - though it is probably not perfect for die-hard lap swimmers. The three patios are nice to have and everything you need is inside this 3-level condo. There is also a one car garage that in addition to saving your vehicle from the Arizona sun is well-stocked. And though we didn’t have occasion to use the bikes - that would have been a good thing to do. If you like to walk - the neighborhoods and near-by parks are ideal. The condo is situated as a perfect jump-off point to get virtually anywhere in any direction. Communication with the owners was easy - the materials were comprehensive, easy to digest, and spot on. They are also readily available and helpful should you need to contact them during your stay. The neighbors are also quite friendly without being nosey. It feels like a great neighborhood - many are permanent residents who will welcome you with lots of tips and suggestions in addition to the very solid ones given by the owners. If you’re like us your eyes get blurry from reading all these reviews. This one is meant to be honest and sincere. We’d definitely come back should we choose another month long stay in the Phoenix area - assuming they’d have us. LOL The owners graciously allow small dogs, and we did bring along our two who adapted quickly to the property - nothing hazardous or difficult happened or made it tough for them. Of course, they’d never seen turtles so that was fascinating to watch. And they got fairly up close and personal with ducks and are amazed by pigeons. There were some other dogs in the area - all very friendly. Thanks to the owners for providing a great place.

Great Stay

Beautiful residence in a nice safe area. The hostess was easy to contact and very helpful. The residence was very clean and well supplied with essentials. The kitchen was well equipment for making daily meals and baking!! The balcony is facing a golf course and a channel of water. We loved feeding the ducks and watching the turtles! The location is also good being close to 101 and 60.

Desert Getaway

Other than a glitch with an incorrect door code upon arrival (which the owner made swift amends), we found the townhome to be everything we could want. It was well appointed, plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils, beds were very comfortable and the unit was very quiet (other than a few barking dogs a few times). We especially liked the balcony and view out to the 16th Fairway and watching the ducks and geese in the pond below. Would highly recommend this place.

Maximizing Relaxation in Mesa

My wife and I found the property to be very clean and quiet. It is in a great location with easy access to the freeway to get anywhere in the valley. We enjoyed watching the golfers and the wildlife in the stream outside of our window & deck. Appreciated the office space so I could do a little work while visiting. We would recommend this property.

A lovely home

We loved our month away from winter in the Midwest. Lots of sunshine! Beautiful, exceptionally clean townhome in a convenient location to many Arizona attractions - museums, restaurants, hiking, and day trips. The quiet back balcony overlooking a golf course and the canal with ducks and turtles made it so relaxing. Great spot to enjoy coffee in the morning, read a book, and have drinks in the evening. The owner called us shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was okay and when we had any questions was always available to us by phone or email. The neighbors were so nice and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mesa.

Comfortable stay!

When my family and I arrived at the condo in Mesa, we were greeted with a welcoming courtyard that led to the door of the condo. Everything was exactly as described in this well furnished and well maintained condo. Views were fantastic overlooking a municipal golf course-Dobson Ranch.. We loved that there were bathrooms in each bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Easy to get around to and from the condo. Grocery including liquor store (Robertsons), restaurants a few blocks away. The owner was very personable and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean & beautifully renovated

They did a beautiful job renovating the townhouse! We stayed for a month and had every amenity we needed. The property wasn't the best for little children though, lots of stairs and nowhere to play outside besides the pool. Would definitely recommend for anyone with older/no children. Great location with easy access to hwy 60 & 101. Cathie was also wonderful to work with!

We loved everything about the condo and the location. Close to all the conveniences and attractions. Great view off the balcony onto the golf course and we (and our dog) enjoyed watching the ducks, turtles, birds and golfers. The neighbors on either side are very nice and were kind enough to suggest some great places to see. The owners are great to work with and very accessible and we appreciated the welcome package. I have just completed a one-month vacation stay in this lovely home. Home was exactly as described: immaculate, comfortable, extremely well-equipped. In a safe and quiet residential area where I did lots of evening walks alone. Central to major freeways, shopping and restaurants. If you are a nature-lover, the ducks and turtles will provide great company! I particularly enjoyed the bright, functional lower-level office space - a joy to work in. The owner was very accessible, and communication regarding some utilities work in the complex was much appreciated. I was disappointed to hear the property was already booked for next year! I have rented many properties and everything comes together with this rental, making it a premium choice. If a plus was available, this rating would deserve exceeding the 5 star. You would be lucky to make a booking if there is availability. First it is obvious these owners (sisters) have a passion for their place. No shortages or skimping on anything in all directions. The neighbors are friendly and helpful, any interest or service is less than 20 minutes away, yet you are tucked into a beautiful quiet setting. Cathie (an owner) was quick to offer info and made us feel welcome as soon as the door was open with treats and wine on the table. Great place to stay busy or not, and have the ability to venture out with little effort. I have absolutely no negatives to put forward on this property. Thanks a bunch Cathie & Brenda !

The Perfect Getaway

I can't say enough good things about my experience with the owners, the home and the location. The owners were very good about communicating both before the rental and once it commenced. I didn't have any problems but they were proactive in making sure everything went smoothly. The home is lovely, spacious and well equipped. The area is quiet and the views are great. My daughter loved watching the ducks swim by every day. The location is exceptional. It is close to any chain store you find at home but there are still a lot of local establishments to explore (Uncle Aldo's Attic, Sweetie's Candy Store). Being close to freeways, it's easy to get around. We made it to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and the Pima Air and Space Museum while we were there, as well to some of the many parks in the Phoenix metro area. It was a great place to come home to each evening and relax. I highly recommend the home and the owners.

Wonderful townhouse! Had everything we needed and more. Loved sitting on the deck watching golfers stroll by. Ducks, fish and turtles just below in the channel. Even had great year-round neighbors on both sides. Very quiet. Two couples could easily enjoy this home.

Beautiful condo and wonderful owners!

We did an extended stay in this condo and we’re very pleased with how nice it was. It was very well maintained and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. The condo is in a nice golf course location and is close to freeways and shopping. If we ever needed to rent here in Phoenix again, Cathie would be the first person I would call!

Very Clean and Enjoyable!

My family and I stayed at this condo for a little over 2 weeks. Upon arrival, it was very clean and fully equipped to enjoy our stay. It was very quiet! Even for it being the 4th of July! Which was very helpful since we traveled with a baby. By the way, the condo also included a pack-n-play for the baby. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

Fabulous townhouse

We were in the Phoenix area for two weeks of training and had a wonderful experience. The townhouse was very clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely well equipped. Our friends that stayed at other locations were very jealous of our accommodations. We would definitely book this townhome again when in the Phoenix area and would recommend it to our friends.

We recently stayed for 2 months. The townhouse was very nicely furnished and the kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The location was great with easy access to all major highways. The surrounding neighbourhoods provided plenty of routes for long morning dog walks. We especially enjoyed being on the 16th fairway watching the golfers at the end of the day....lots of trees and water for them to hit. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had. We'll be going back again next year.

Great location, super clean and easy!

We stayed at the townhouse for a month, as we were waiting for our house to be built. The owners were very easy to communicate with and addressed any issues we had (which were very few). Everything was spotless and quite comfortable, from the beds to the furniture and the handy office setup in the lower level. We loved looking out at the stream and golf course in the back, and relaxing on the balcony. We had our dog with us too, and the property was convenient for walking him - they even have bag stations and garbage cans which made cleaning up after him easy. There are plenty of places to bike in the area and the owners had two nice bikes that were there for our use. The location was outstanding - easy to drive to downtown, Scottsdale, Tempe and South Mountain. We highly recommend this townhouse if you'd like an easy, clean, comfortable rental experience while in the Phoenix area!

We are two sisters, who along with our Havanese Daisy absolutely love spending a significant part of our retirement at our Lake Park Village townhome. We purchased the home in 2010 and have steadily worked on making it a perfect vacation retreat in the valley of the sun! We both worked in the tourism/travel industry and are well travelled. We enjoy having a spacious townhome on the golf course, this is our dream come true. We also love having very satisfied guests, this is truly our ultimate goal.

Why they chose this property

We live in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada. We admit that having the choice to live in the Greater Phoenix area part time in retirement was high on our wish list.

What makes this property unique

You will appreciate the convenience of our townhome's address. It is a very preferable location in the south west corner of Mesa, with the cities of Tempe, Chandler and Regional Parks just a couple of minutes away. Banner Desert Medical Center, Cardon Children's Medical Center and the Sonoran Spine Center are a five minute commute and the University of Arizona is 10 minutes.
