Our family had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful and was big enough for all of us, love the hugs back yard and fire pit, the host was easy to contact and talk to she is very sweet, kind, generous and a wonderful host. I appreciated all her help. I would rent from her again. Thank you we had a wonderful week! Also pet friendly!

Very comfortable home, perfect location to access the island amenities, centrally located close to all the best restuarants and coffee shops. We were very appreciative of the large fenced yard, large enough for kids to play and to contain our dog. We enjoyed our stay!

Great area, nice house

Great location, restaurants and stores are within walking distance. the beach and museums are a short drive. We were there during the pony swim so that was a good experience. The house met our needs as a family of 9.

The house was roomy, a good size for our group. The location can't be beat, an easy walk to some good stores and coffee shops and an easy drive to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils as well as spices. We were not able to take full advantage of the roomy yard as the grass had been cut high and the yard was full of clippings. We would have rated this location higher if there had been functioning central AC, however the upstairs bedrooms instead had portable ACs that required daily draining and were quite loud. The refrigerator leaked our entire visit as well, and the door code failed two days into our visit. We reported the door code issue and refrigerator issues to the owner, who was very responsive and provided us a credit for these items.

family fun

This house was perfect for our family which included 4 couples and grandkids. Each family had their own bedroom. The yard was such that the kids could run outside and play frisbee, tag, or whatever other imaginary game they could think of. There were several children books and game included with the house. My favorite thing was all the empty cupboards in the kitchen so each family could put their own food in a cupboard instead of cluttering up the counter. It's within walking distance to the ice cream shop and donut shop. There was plenty of silverware and plates, coffee filters and cups. You might want to bring some jugs of drinking water as the fridge water dispenser doesn't work and the ice has a funny taste. The smart lock on the door was good for people returning at different times. Three showers indoors and one outside. I we came back here we would rent again. Thanks so much for opening it up for us.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Family Oasis for Easter weekend! The house was much bigger than it looks in the pictures and it had a very large fenced in backyard! The location is perfect - just a short walk or drive to the shops - especially for ice cream! Unfortunately the rainy weather before we arrived made the backyard and parking area a very soggy, muddy mess. This w Made it hard to let the dog out back on her own and restricted the kids from playing in the yard. The road was pretty quiet, so we spent some time on the front porch and let the kids throw their football and play out front at times during the day. There was a grumpy neighbor's girlfriend who wasn't thrilled about that on Easter morning and threatened to call the police on our kids because they were playing too loud. After she left, we didn't hear any other complaints and met some very friendly people walking their dogs throughout the stay. This house has a lot of space, rooms and potential to add more beds to accommodate even larger family groups (something that is hard to find around this area). There were a lot of updates and it was clean. The bathroom door upstairs sticks quite a bit, but it looked to be brand new, so may just need some adjustments. The manager was responsive and kind. We hope to visit again soon!

This property is within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, tourist shopping, and minimal groceries. The house itself is deceptively small on the outside, but has plenty of room for the family, and plenty of bathrooms! There is a fenced backyard with seating and a nice little deck and an outdoor shower (although we didn’t spend time out there, the day we thought we would play outside they had mowed the lawn while we were out and whew lots of clippings).Inside is super clean and easy to maintain. There were plenty of towels (a whole pile of beach towels) toys and books for our little guys, all the cooking stuff as well as a nice collection of spices, oil, etc. Brooms and a vacuum cleaner, plenty of TP and paper towels, all the essentials. The bathrooms had shampoo, etc. There was one hair dryer. And they thought to leave girl essentials. Comfortable beds, good pillows and linens. TVs in all the bedrooms, good wifi. They had two portable AC units upstairs that helped when we first arrived. It is an older home and feels like staying at a great aunt’s house. Comfortable, welcoming, eclectic. There is street parking and the “driveway” is grass, so we weren’t sure what to do about parking there.We love staying here, and would stay again.

Roomy enough to enjoy for grandparents, 4 adult children, 3 teens and one preteen with family dogs. Yes, there really is a lot of space for boats and cars. The backyard is fenced in and large enough for a game of whiffle ball or Frisbee or catch with the dogs. Very clean and well appointed. And great location! The kids enjoyed their freedom roaming to shop and explore. So much within walking distance, including Sandy Pony donuts and smoothies, Dollar General, Sunsations, H&H pharmacy and Island Creamery. The owner is very responsive and quick to help with any issues and neighbors are friendlyHighly recommend Family Oasis.
