I am a very responsive & helpful host, but if you're the type of person who books without reading/understanding (i.e. tries to cram more than 2 adults into a one bedroom condo for example) or who likes to complain about anything and everything, especially things outside of the host's control, then please move on to the next listing.

Crescent Bar Condos unit 143. 1 Bedroom + 2 built in child bunk beds in hallway + Futon in living room. 1 Bathroom. Fully furnished, full kitchen, gas BBQ. No smoking & no pets. Great for couples or families with small children!

Nice place , very clean. Lved all the extra pots/ pans , containers as I needed to put food in for entertaining! Very nice size unit for 2 adults but would also accommodate 2 small children. So nice to be able to walk right outside to pool!we Wd stay here again!!

The condo was pretty clean however the sheets on the bed were very pilled and there were some strands of hair stuck to them. When I told the owner about it he said the sheets were only two weeks old. He also mentioned there were extra sheets in a drawer and we could have changed them.We had booked for two nights but only stayed one night. We did not use the amenities so I can not comment on them..After we checked out and locked the keys and parking passes back where we were told to put them, they apparently went missing. The correspondence with the owner was that we must have taken them or not locked them up correctly which was not the case.

Checking out first thing in the morning after the first of two nights, without communicating with the owner before leaving, is poor renter behavior. If you can't afford the stay, don't book it in the first place. There's no need to make up non-existent issues like pilled sheets (which even if true could have been fixed easily/quickly). VRBO support staff reviewed the exchange and determined that you are likely a scammer, so if that isn't the case, you may want to change your behavior.

Our stay overall was ok. Check in and out was easy. Host was easy to communicate with. Outdoor patio set was very uncomfortable, bring your own camping chairs.Bunkbeds are more narrow than a camping trailer bunkbed. Really for kids only. Futon isn’t a comfortable sleeping option

The property description says that the bunk beds are for kids and that this unit is best for couples and/or families with small children, so if you crammed another adult in to save money, that's on you. Next time, research & read before you book, pretty simple. Aren't you the same guests who were in bed at 7:00pm each night and kept messaging me to complain that other guests were still outside enjoying the property (which they're allowed to do until 11:00)?

The location is so good. Literally leave the parking lot and launch the boat one parking lot over. The condo is comfortable, and has everything you’ll need to cook for a family. The bunk beds are small, so kids over 10 will be a bit cramped. Everything is well kept, but the buildings are pretty old. We struggled to sleep in the room because there’s only air conditioning in the main living room. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Check in is was fairly easy, and our host answered our message requests every time. It was a bit confusing have two keys only to find out one was for the laundry room which no longer worked. We did experience no hot water each day until we flipped the breaker switch each time. The bed sheet was stained with something red and black and I killed a large spider in the bathroom, which made my sister check her bedroom for any more spiders (she hates them). I will save the photos of those events for memories.

Appreciate the feedback, will credit you for the sheet situation and discuss with my cleaner. Not sure what to do about the rest of these complaints though. 2 keys is too confusing? There was a spider? Heavy usage in the building on a busy weekend caused the breaker to trip?

Sunny Lazy Days at the River

I have been to Crescent Bar many times in the past, but not since all the upgrades. We opted to stay in the condos as it appears they have done away with tent camping. The condo we stayed in was underwhelming. No decor whatsoever with very dated living room furniture. The water pressure for the toilet is so bad it takes three to four flushes. But, it has the basics and we didn't spend much time inside. Check in process was seamless and communication with owner timely.

Furniture & decor is similar to the pictures, so not sure what you were expecting or why you would be underwhelmed. Also, if you would have simply let me know that the toilet was having issues I could have had someone come out and take a look/fix (Otherwise, how would I know there's a problem?) Requiring multiple flushes as you've described is usually an easy fix (not really a "water pressure" thing). Please do future owners a favor and keep these things in mind the next time you rent.

great location

The location is fantastic, close to the gorge Ampitheater and nice beach area to paddle board. The grounds and pool area is large and well maintained. We were disappointed with how clean the unit was. There was still old coffee grounds left in the coffee pot, the patio was very dirty and we swept dirt and cobwebs off the soffit. We found a clothing label from someone in our bed. We never used the dishwasher because the handle was broken, when I did get it open it still had dishes in it. The shower was clean and very nice. If the unit was clean I would of rated it higher..
