This property was so nice and clean - just like the pictures! The kitchen is fully loaded and has cookware, dishes, glassware, and utensils a-plenty! There was plenty of room for our family to gather around the table for meals and just hanging out! It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and there are plenty of places to eat close by if you want to go out! We would definitely recommend this protest and would stay here again if we're in the area.

Everything is excellent - cleanliness, location, furniture, ample space, absolutely everything you'll ever need in the kitchen, love the bright, white kitchen with granite counters, open and airy, comfortable beds and bedding, and well-lit grounds. Padre Escapes is super to deal with - very professional and efficient. We are always happy with our entire experience with this unit as well as the management of it.

We had a great time. There is something for everyone! We went fishing while kids stayed back and hung out in the pool. Beautiful sunset view from the Yacht club deck by the pool.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed the property. Very clean, great location and are looking forward to staying here again. The only downside is the pool is too small for the complex, not enough chairs or shade. We did have an issue with our beach towels taken from the back fence where we hung them to dry. Other than that we enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Great Stay

It was perfect size for 10 people! 5 adults & 5 kids from 2.5 yrs old to 15 yrs old. Great amenities. Only recommendation I have is need more than 1 extra blanket and more towels. Also the water pressure is pretty terrible hade a very very hard time washing shampoo and conditioner and sand out of our hair. Other than that it was great! Location was great too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mermaid Bay was an incredible place for us to live for two months, and we have already booked for next year! This is a newer condo with plenty of space (seats 8 at the dining table!), an open kitchen with quality utensils and every appliance you will need (crockpot, blender, waffle iron, and more!), comfortable beds and linens, and three full baths. The location is totally safe and well-lit at night and the entire property, inside and out was clean and well-maintained. There are nice sized TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms. It is an easy 7ish minutes (2 blocks) walk to the beach or you can drive and park for free in a large parking lot. We love this condo! It is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Padre Escapes is great to work with and super responsive to any questions or concerns.
