My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights in April to visit my son. Arrangements were made easy by Michael. The bed was very comfortable. Hottub was clean and hot. We had my son over one night and we built a fire to sit around. The place is unique and lovely, and my husband wants to stay there from now on when we come back. I agree. I absolutely recommend this place.

Unit as described. Peaceful zen type garden. Be prepared for stairs going down then up to unit. Same thing g on the return to your car. Parking spaces at the end of 40 yard or so driveway that descends steep hill. Try to 3 point turn facing uphill if possible when arriving. Makes it easier to depart. We had unit 4 which was quiet and peaceful for 4 out of 5 nights...the one of the nights had "activity" upstairs from 2:30-3:30 AM which made it impossible to sleep as we weren't prepared with heavy white noise and sound dampening padding for the ceiling. Enjoy!!!

Amazing oasis!

What a hidden gem! We had a wonderful stay! The interior and exterior are beautiful, and the amenities were very comfortable and top if the line! Definitely would recommend it and stay here again!

This was our second visit and we plan to keep coming back! Such a quiet area tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to access everything quickly! The studio has everything you need. We love being able to use the hot tube and visit the chickens in the morning too :). It is also walkable to Mt. Helix which is a great morning walk or place to view the sunset! Michael is super communicative and helpful with any recommendations.

Enjoyed it so much we want to go back! La Mesa is a cute town with great people. The morning walks were breathtaking. This place we stayed was perfect for relaxing and sipping coffee listening to all the little creatures running around. The chickens were an added bonus and It had everything we needed or forgot to pack. The place was very clean and the host was always accessible. We needed him at the beginning for parking instructions and we got it! The local pub The Hills was a perfect place to end each day with great people, drinks and food and it’s right down the street!! Shopping was also very close by and convenient. The town of La Mesa had many antique shops, bars and restaurants. Going to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World were less than 20 minutes away. Access to freeway was nearby and the traffic was excellent!! Overall the place was perfection. I highly recommend it!!

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. The garden is so beautiful and quiet - it was nice to have a quiet place to go to after a busy day. The neighborhood is lovely, and the studio and grounds even lovelier. The studio is well appointed and all of the finishes are very nice. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful private getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It is a beautiful property with amazing views. The private deck was cozy and secluded. The room was very clean and had a tushy bidet! The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing views, cool breezes, very clean and staff very friendly. Given code for door open right away. Nice little studio with a comfortable king size bed, private bathroom with shower. Microwave,frig, and sink completely equipped if you want to make a small meal. So relaxing, great sunset view!

Great place

Everything looked and was as advertised. The host was reaposive and helpful with all questions. We were a little sad it rained the whole time we were there so we didnt get to use much of the outside but there was a nice covered porch area where we could sit and enjoy the raon. Everything was great !

We stayed for a few days while our home was being fumigated. The property is in a convenient location with easy access. It is very quiet and private, offering the perfect setup to enjoy the hot tub, relax, and unwind after a long day. The studio is tastefully decorated, and cozy, creating a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Michael is very welcoming and highly responsive. He ensured that we were enjoying our stay. Wonderful Adventure

My now Fiancé and I had a wonderful adventure here at the treehouse. Our host Michael was able to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. The place was cozy and well kept. The jacuzzi was the best to come home too after a long day of walking. And the view from the deck was amazing day and night. We would love to come back and stay again.
