Beautiful updated home and appliances. Very clean. The linens and beds really stood out, so comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with teas, coffee, and spices. We will definitely return. Thank you! Oh, and the hot tub after skiing was so perfect.
We spent 2 nights and definitely wish we could have stayed longer. The property is a bit far from things but we wanted quiet and the drive around the area was stunning. We had a small hiccup at check in but got an immediate response and the problem was fixed! So relaxing and the stars alone were worth the stay! We e em got visits from deer! Definitely recommend!
Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
I recommend driving there during daylight or via Highway 12 in Packwood. Coming from the other direction -forest service Road 52 at night is very winding and dark with few street signs.
This home was the perfect quiet get away. It was exactly as described in the listing. This was the cleanest place we have stayed in years including hotels. The kitchen had everything you could want or need! The communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. We can’t wait to go back!
Property was clean and decorated nicely. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliances you would need, with complementary tea and coffee. We enjoyed the clean hot tub - it was covered, and there were extra towels placed inside the sliding door. The outside space has a lawn area and the ability to walk to the lovely creek. We saw Elk in the mornings and evenings. The house is thoughtfully designed with great lighting, internet, and large windows to enjoy the view. We took a walk to Packwood (2.6 mi) where there is a great coffee shop, gift shop and Brewery with outside seating. Nice Spring getaway - we would come back in summer or for skiing in winter.

Meh
The back of property was very nice but the front does not match what you would expect from the pictures. The code I was given did not work but luckily the back doors were unlocked. There were mice inside that you could hear in the walls and occasionally saw scurrying through the living room/kitchen space. The neighbors were very close and complained of the noise when half our group stayed in watching movies while the other half watched stars outside with a pocket speaker. Overall the hot tub and view of the stars were incredible.
Clean and updated house. It’s in Packwood but off the path a ways in a very quiet and secluded area. There are a few homes close but it is very secluded. Packwood itself is very small with a local grocery store and only 2 maybe 3 restaurants all bar style food. House was located with a short walk to the creek. Nature heaven with Elk coming to the house every morning. Watch out for Elk dropping in the yard as you walk to the creek. Lovely flower garden in the front yard. Plenty of pans and essentials for you to use in the kitchen. There is only 6-7 towels so bring laundry detergent to wash towels if you are there more than a few days.full size washer and dryers. Only compliant is that we traveled with our children and all had to share one tv in the living room at night.

Renovation didn’t take away the smoke smell
We rented this property as our base for exploring Mount Rainier. On arrival, it was really confusing how to get to the house. We had to walk around the property and it took a while before we could find the front door. The house is next to a dilapidated garage which was confusing.
The interior of the house was as the photos- beautifully renovated. BUT- there is still quite a strong cigarette smoke smell in the house. Apparently the previous owners were smokers. I have a child with asthma so it wasn’t possible for us to stay overnight and thankfully, the host agreed to a refund.
They definitely need to fix the cigarette smell before I would even consider staying here.
