CASA PALMA HIDEAWAY — ISLAND RETREAT ON NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND
No cars. No bridges. No crowds.
North Captiva is accessible only by boat, ferry, or small plane, and once you're here, everyone gets around by golf cart. That's part of what makes this island so different from a typical Florida beach town — and why a stay here feels like a true escape.
Welcome to Casa Palma Hideaway, a beautifully remodeled 4-bedroom, 3-bath island retreat for up to 10 guests, just a short walk from the Gulf beach.
Your stay includes a heated private pool, two 4-passenger golf carts, covered outdoor kitchen and entertaining area, rooftop observation deck, fire-pit seating area, hammock area, professional-size ping-pong table, inflatable paddle-boards, dedicated coffee bar, marina slip access for guests bringing a boat, and access to The Island Club at North Captiva.
Whether your perfect vacation means mornings at the beach, afternoons by the pool, exploring by golf cart, heading out on the boat, or doing absolutely nothing at all — Casa Palma was made for it.
THE HEART OF CASA PALMA
Upstairs, the fully equipped kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together in one bright, open-concept space where everyone naturally gathers. Prepare breakfast before the beach or a full family dinner without ever feeling separated from the group.
A full-size washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen — especially convenient after beach and pool days.
THE COFFEE BAR
Island mornings deserve good coffee.
Casa Palma features a dedicated, fully equipped coffee bar with a Gevi 10-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with built-in burr grinder, Nespresso Vertuo, and Yabano Espresso Machine with steam wand.
You'll also find a milk frother, whole-bean and pre-ground coffee, sugar and sweeteners, creamers, and flavored syrups.
Make your cup, find your favorite spot, and ease into another morning on North Captiva.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS — 4 BEDROOMS | SLEEPS 10
PRIMARY KING SUITE King bed, wall-mounted TV, ceiling fan, and private en-suite bathroom. Set apart from the other bedrooms for added privacy. The closet is reserved for owner storage; a luggage rack is provided instead.
QUEEN BEDROOM — MAIN LEVEL Queen bed, wall-mounted TV, and ceiling fan, with the shared full bathroom just steps away. Conveniently located near the open-concept kitchen and living area.
TWIN BEDROOM — MAIN LEVEL Two Twin beds, wall-mounted TV, and ceiling fan, conveniently located near the shared full bathroom. Great for children, teens, friends, or additional guests.
DOUBLE QUEEN CABANA SUITE — GROUND LEVEL Two Queen beds, wall-mounted TV, ceiling fan, and private connected full bathroom with a walk-in glass shower and double vanity. Located beside the pool, outdoor kitchen, and downstairs entertaining area.
PLEASE NOTE: The Cabana Suite is a separate ground-level space and is not internally connected to the main house. Guests step outside to access the main level. This makes it Casa Palma's most private sleeping space and a great choice for a second couple, extended family, or older children. Families with very young children may prefer to keep them in one of the main-level bedrooms.
THREE FULL BATHROOMS
PRIMARY EN-SUITE: Walk-in glass shower and double vanity.
MAIN-LEVEL SHARED BATH: Located between the Queen and Twin bedrooms with a tub/shower combination, vanity, linen closet stocked with fresh towels, and a step stool for younger guests.
CABANA EN-SUITE: Walk-in glass shower and double vanity, conveniently located near the pool and outdoor entertaining area.
Because North Captiva is a remote island, we make packing a little easier. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hand cream, dental floss, Q-tips, cotton balls and pads, hair dryers, plenty of toilet paper, and fresh towels.
OUTDOOR LIVING — WHERE CASA PALMA REALLY SHINES
This is where some of the best vacation memories happen.
Cool off in the heated private pool, relax in the hammock area, or gather in the covered downstairs entertaining space.
Casa Palma's fully equipped covered outdoor kitchen is much more than a grill on a patio. It includes a built-in BBQ grill, flat-top griddle, side burner, ice maker, beverage refrigerator, weatherproof TV, and three ceiling fans.
Cook an entire family dinner while everyone swims nearby, and because the space is covered, a passing afternoon shower doesn't have to end the fun.
Challenge the family to a game on the professional-size ping-pong table, then wind down around the dedicated fire-pit seating area as evening settles over the island.
Island tip: Mosquitoes and no-see-ums are part of tropical island life, especially around dawn and dusk. Bring your preferred insect repellent so you can comfortably enjoy the evenings outdoors.
THE ROOFTOP OBSERVATION DECK
Head up to Casa Palma's rooftop observation deck for the island breeze, views from above, morning coffee, or a quiet moment as the day winds down.
It's an escape within the escape.
THE GULF BEACH — JUST A SHORT WALK AWAY
Being this close to the beach means it becomes part of your day rather than an outing.
Take an early morning walk, spend the afternoon swimming and shelling, or head down on a whim to catch the sunset.
When you've had enough sand, your private pool is waiting back at Casa Palma.
Beach. Pool. Repeat.
TWO GOLF CARTS INCLUDED
North Captiva is car-free, and golf carts are how you explore.
Casa Palma includes two 4-passenger golf carts, giving your group the freedom to split up rather than having everyone follow the same schedule.
Head to the beach, visit The Island Club, grab something to eat, explore the island, or simply take an evening ride.
BRINGING A BOAT? MARINA SLIP ACCESS INCLUDED
Guests bringing a boat have access to a slip at the North Captiva Island Club Marina at no additional cost, subject to availability and vessel compatibility.
Slip sizes vary, so please provide your boat's length, beam, and draft as early as possible so an appropriate available slip can be coordinated.
Boat trailers cannot come onto the island and must remain on the mainland. The included access is to a shared marina slip at The Island Club, not a private dock at the house.
From there, spend the day fishing, explore neighboring islands, or take the boat out for lunch at Cabbage Key or Useppa Island.
PADDLE-BOARDS + THE ISLAND CLUB
Casa Palma provides inflatable paddle-boards for guests who want to get out on the water and experience the island from another perspective.
Guests also enjoy access to The Island Club at North Captiva, adding even more ways to spend your days.
Explore in the morning, hit the beach, come home for an afternoon swim and dinner outdoors — or do absolutely nothing.
Both work perfectly here.
THOUGHTFULLY EQUIPPED FOR ISLAND LIVING
North Captiva isn't a typical Florida beach town. It's a remote barrier island — and that's exactly the point.
That's also why we've put extra thought into the details at Casa Palma: a fully equipped kitchen, dedicated coffee bar, stocked bathrooms, fresh linens, full-size laundry, outdoor entertainment, paddle-boards, and beach-day conveniences.
Less time wondering what you forgot. More time enjoying where you are.
GETTING HERE IS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE
North Captiva is accessible only by boat, passenger ferry, or small plane. There are no bridges and no traditional cars once you arrive — just golf carts, sandy roads, and a wonderfully slower pace.
To make your arrival as easy as possible, we provide a detailed Casa Palma Welcome Guide covering island logistics, including ferry transportation, mainland parking, arrival information, and helpful tips for your stay.
Once you arrive, settle in, grab a golf cart, and let island time begin.
Come for the beaches. Stay for the slower pace, golf-cart rides, pool afternoons, outdoor dinners, boating adventures, and evenings under the island sky.
Slow down. Settle in. Make Casa Palma your island home.
We'd love to host you.

We loved our stay so much! From the help in logistics, the movement of our luggage from my boat to the house, to the amazing decorations and amenities. The house was very well stocked. We appreciated all of the thoughtfulness into the design and decor. It was very cozy with plenty of room for two families of four (8 people total). We will be back and we highly recommend this property!

This place was amazing. Very clean and that's the most important! Our family really enjoyed this place. A quick and easy walk down the street to the water. The company working out of the bottom 1/2 of unit was quiet and sectioned off. The only thing that needs to be noted is that 1 room is downstairs by the cook-out area. Looking forward to renting again.

Hello Thomas!
Thank you for staying with us and for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the home and its location. We look forward to hosting you again on your next visit!
One of the best properties we have stayed at. The owner truly took the time to properly stock the home and thought of every detail. Not one detail was overlooked. The home was impeccably well maintained and very clean. The owner is just a lovely person who really takes pride in her home. The communication was great and the management company was very helpful. The property is very serene and peaceful and the pool and outdoor living space was perfection. We enjoyed a lot of time on the deck cooking and hanging out during the evenings. This is a true home away from home stay.

We spent our days enjoying the incredible outdoor space, watching March Madness by the pool, and grilling dinners in the evenings. The beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to soak in the beauty of the island whenever we wanted. Check-in was seamless, with great communication and assistance getting to the property. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back the next time we visit North Captiva!

We had stayed on North Captiva Island about 5 years ago and our son chose to go back for his senior spring break. We had an absolutely amazing vacation - so relaxing. The house is beautiful - so well maintained! One of our favorite parts was the outdoor area with the full kitchen. Made meal time so easy and we loved eating outdoors and watching the NCAA basketball tournament on the TV. The grocery delivery was simple and took a lot of the stress off when arriving to the island to have our food already delivered. Would strongly recommend if you are looking for an easy, relaxing vacation.

We’re also pleased the grocery delivery helped streamline your arrival. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we hope to host you again soon.
Great location, house has all the amenities, quick walk to the beach, family friendly, and helpful service from the management company. We did the food delivery with stocking and would recommend.
Get ready for a little slice of paradise with tons of wildlife. Turtles, manatees, dolphins, birds and fish.
Don’t forget your bug spray and spices outside of salt and pepper.

We just stay at this property this weekend and to tell you it was beautiful is an understatement. The house is just as seen on the pictures and have everything you will need and much more. We had an amazing time there. Very clean, spacious and beautiful. I loved the outdoor retreat which not very many home in the island have that as we came to see on our exploring of the island. Thank you Yaneth and Alley for the prompt attention you gave us and always answering our calls and questions. Also i was very skeptical about getting to island since you couldn't drive there, but the ferry at Island Girl Charters were great. Very easy transition to island. I would absolutely recommend this island and home. Thank you again for making our family vacation a great and easy experience. Janet Rivas

Are family truly enjoyed our time Casa Palma Hideaway. The house is in good condition and within a very short walk to some of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see. Owners were very attentive and worked to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The downstairs grilling area is great! Overall, we would rate our stay as a 4.7. There were a couple things minor things that would’ve made our stay a perfect 5.One example, was that we arrived by our personal boat and were told we had a slip reserved. We over communicated our time of arrival, which would be a short 30 min boat ride but after we traveled 6 hours to get to the west coast. When we arrived, there was a boat in our slip. It happened to be the owners. This caused us some inconvenience trying to track down a dock master late in the day (btw he’s great) and while my family was waiting dockside in our boat, they got absolutely hammered by noseeums (biting flies). We felt that the owners should’ve planned a touch better to accommodate our arrival.Remember to bring plenty of sunscreen, some bug spray and get ready to relax. At the end of the day, my family had a very nice time and I don’t think most of us put on shoes the entire time!

About the host
Hosted by Yanette Wilson & Shally's Seashells Property Management
Hi, I'm Yanette. I grew up spending time at my family's beach house, where life meant sunshine, ocean breezes, sandy feet, and a table that always seemed to have room for one more person. Some of my happiest memories were made there. When I began building my life in the United States, I carried one dream with me: one day, I wanted a beach house of my own. Not simply a place to escape to, but a home I could share, where other families could slow down, reconnect, and create the kind of memories I still treasure from my own childhood. Casa Palma Hideaway is that dream. With my background in design and construction, I remodeled Casa Palma myself, down to details most guests will never notice. Throughout, I kept coming back to one question: what would make a family want to stay one more day? That's still how I approach hosting. What I enjoy most is knowing Casa Palma gets to be a small part of someone's story — a family vacation, a celebration, a long-awaited getaway, or simply a week together they'll still be talking about years from now. I'm always available when you need me, and when you don't, I'll leave you to slow down, explore, and enjoy island life. Welcome to Casa Palma. I hope you make some wonderful memories here.
Why they chose this property
What drew me to this little corner of North Captiva was the feeling of being close to everything while still tucked away from it all. Casa Palma sits on a quiet private road, and the Gulf beach is only a short stroll away. Feel the ocean breeze and head to the beach whenever the mood strikes — a morning coffee walk, an afternoon swim, or a last-minute sunset. What I love most is the pace of life here. There are no cars, no traffic, and nowhere you need to rush to. You travel the sandy island roads by golf cart, wave to people as you pass, and quickly find yourself adjusting to island time. The beach, The Island Club, the marina, and the island restaurants are all an easy golf-cart ride away — and when you come back to Casa Palma, it's quiet and private again.
What makes this property unique
Casa Palma was remodeled by a designer, and it shows in the details that make a vacation easier and more memorable. TWO 4-PASSENGER GOLF CARTS — NOT JUST ONE On a car-free island, a second cart matters. Your group doesn't have to move as one — half can head to the beach while the other half sleeps in or explores. A HEATED PRIVATE POOL Heated, so a January week here swims like a June one. Spend the afternoon poolside, then move straight into the outdoor kitchen and entertaining area. AN OUTDOOR KITCHEN THAT'S ACTUALLY A KITCHEN Built-in BBQ grill, flat-top griddle, side burner, ice maker, beverage refrigerator, three ceiling fans, and a weatherproof TV — all under cover. Cook and serve a full family dinner outside without walking back and forth, rain or shine. A DEDICATED COFFEE BAR A burr-grinder drip maker, Nespresso, and espresso machine with steam wand, plus a frother, coffee, creamers, sweeteners, and syrups. Because the first hour of an island morning matters. A PRIVATE GROUND-LEVEL CABANA SUITE Two Queen beds, a full en-suite bathroom, and a separate entrance — it isn't internally connected to the main house — steps from the pool and outdoor kitchen. Private space for a second couple or older kids, while keeping everyone close. MARINA SLIP ACCESS — INCLUDED Guests bringing a boat have complimentary access to a slip at the North Captiva Island Club Marina, subject to availability and vessel compatibility. Fishing or a day on the water, with no slip fee. STOCKED WITH THE LITTLE THINGS There's no store around the corner here, so we've paid attention to the details. Stocked bathrooms, fresh towels and linens, family-friendly conveniences, paddleboards, hammocks, a professional-size ping-pong table, and fire-pit seating are already waiting. Add a rooftop observation deck, a short walk to the Gulf beach, and access to The Island Club — Casa Palma is designed so the vacation starts the moment you arrive.
