Our kids loved the funky layout. A lot of wildlife - blue heron, loons, ducks, and frogs. An excellent spot for a secluded fishing trip. However we had a lot of water issues. The water had a strong sulfur smell, the house - while well cleaned- was very damp smelling, and the driveway was flooded outside. I imagine the cooler months with the heater drying out the house some, would make this a more comfortable stay.

Quiet spot on a lake! Plenty of snow as advertised for a snow chaser like me. But imagine it is great in the summer! Had everything you would need and a wood stove so bring some fire wood. Communication was perfect!
