We were only there long enough to sleep and shower, but it definitely took care of our needs. Check in was super simple, and the location was ideal! We would definitely stay here again.
Close to everything we needed. We loved being able to walk to marmalade brunch, the conference center, and downtown Salt Lake City amenities. Host was very responsive. Great option for families visiting downtown Salt Lake.
The property was just like it was listed. It was a great place for our family of eight to sleep while we had great access to temple square where we spent most of our time!
I booked this property specifically because the listing advertised an onsite washer and dryer, which was essential for our group of seven traveling cross-country and needing to do laundry. Unfortunately, there was no washer and dryer in the home. When I raised the issue, the owner claimed she meant “coin-operated” because there was a laundromat nearby. However, the listing did not mention coin-operated facilities, and a laundromat down the road is not the same as having a washer and dryer onsite. That’s like advertising a stocked kitchen simply because there’s a grocery store nearby.Since the washer and dryer were my primary reason for choosing this property, I requested a refund so we could stay elsewhere. The owner refused and was initially unresponsive, so I had to involve Vrbo. Eventually, the owner offered to have our clothes washed for us, which I appreciated and accepted. Unfortunately, the clothes came back poorly cleaned, smelling odd, and still damp. I let that go, as the owner covered the cost. However, the situation escalated when the owner sent me a bill afterward for the laundry service, claiming she never intended to pay for it. Vrbo reviewed the situation, agreed with me, issued a credit, and covered the laundry costs. As for the property itself: it’s okay but nothing special. There are no TVs in the bedrooms, and there was a noticeable musty smell. Overall, while the house was acceptable, I would not recommend staying here due to the owner’s misleading l

Hi Dawn,
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, though we feel it’s important to provide clarification for future guests.
Our listing clearly states that there is “coin laundry”, and we do not advertise a private washer and dryer inside the home itself. When this misunderstanding was brought to our attention, we went above and beyond to accommodate you—despite your demand for a full refund, which we could not honor mid-stay.
In an effort to resolve the issue, we arranged and paid for laundry service at our own cost, even though this was not part of the original agreement. The service was completed and returned to your group as requested. Only afterward, and unexpectedly, you left the property without paying the agreed-upon bill for the additional laundry services—a cost we covered to avoid further conflict. Vrbo later chose to credit you out of their own goodwill, which was their decision, not an admission of fault on our part.
While we always aim to provide clear communication and hospitality, we also have a responsibility to protect our property and business from misleading claims and behavior that takes advantage of our willingness to help. We encourage future guests to review our listing carefully and reach out with any questions before booking—we’re always happy to clarify and ensure a great stay.
