About this property
Canyon Road Hacienda in Heart of Santa Fe
Our charming hacienda is a guest favorite in Santa Fe. We have received hundreds of five-star reviews from delighted guests on major rental platforms.
We are perfectly located on artsy Canyon Road near galleries, restaurants, cafes, and the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Enjoy three kiva fireplaces, great artwork, interesting books, Sonos music system, and a newly renovated kitchen equipped for foodies. Stroll down Canyon Road to Geronimo's for a gourmet dinner, the Compound for lunch, the Teahouse for breakfast, or legendary El Farol for drinks and flamenco dancing.
Our home accommodates eight people. We have three bedrooms, including a master suite with a queen bed, and two guest rooms, including one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. We have comfortable memory foam mattresses. There are three full bathrooms. We also have a private den with a top-quality American Leather queen sofa bed.
The house was originally a neighborhood tienda or store. Horses and firewood-laden burros were hitched outside on Canyon Road. Now, the hacienda has been remodeled with a sunny bank of windows that lead into a spacious, light-filled living room. There are two private patios including one with a covered porch and dining area. Our parking area has space for two vehicles.

This was our first visit to Santa Fe. The property was ideally located to galleries, restaurants and cafes. The furnishings were extremely tasteful and the property was well equipped with kitchen and other supplies. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely stay here for my next visit.
This was a beautiful property and a perfect location for exploring Canyon Road.. Not only was the inside nicely appointed but the two outdoor courtyards were great as well. We loved everything about our stay!
My girlfriends and I have stayed here twice now, the house is so gorgeous, in the best location, and has the best energy. It feels like our Santa Fe home away from home!
From the moment we opened the blue door, we were memorized. Truly a wonderful historic Adobe home. They thought of EVERYTHING. Every detail, many books, fireplace, bouquet, shampoo, chips and dip. The kitchen was more than complete! Great quiet location for walking Canyon Road and walking to town. There were 6 of us senior women, friends from high school. We have had many experiences and voted this a 10 star.
The Hacienda is beautiful, convenient and so well equipped! We were 5 college friends, who all live in different states, celebrating our 60th birth year! The housekeeper was very interactive and answered all questions we had!
From the Hacienda, you can walk down Canyon Road to see the galleries, find a happy hour or meal or continue walking to the plaza (~1 mile) for shopping, dining or just exploring! There is a book on the coffee table that has many great suggestions!!
It is just a very special place!!! We feel lucky to have been there!!!
The Hacienda is a charming Santa Fe house in the perfect location. Close to shopping, the main square, museums, and fine dining. The surroundings very quiet and peaceful, yet close to art galleries, fine dining, the town square and museums. The kitchen is well equipped but the stove could use an update. The master bedroom was nice, but there was no privacy door to the en-suite bathroom. All the beds were comfortable. The guest bedrooms carpet could also stand to be cleaned. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend to potential renters.
If you want a truly authentic Santa Fe experience, then this is the location and house for you. Near the top of Canyon Road & across the street from the wonderful Tea House, this historic home is an artisitc dream, perfectly decorated with beautiful art and furnshings by the owner's family. All things Canyon Road is just a short walk out the front door and after your shopping trip you can return to tranquil and peaceful environment of this period Santa Fe home. Every amenity you can want is at the home and if you're hosting family and friends, you'll present an impressive and enjoyable Santa Fe only experience. It does not get better, in my opinion, if you want to enjoy everything Santa Fe but also want to be away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the Plaza. We all left rejuvenated and happy to have called this home for a short time.
