We had a great weekend with plenty of room to relax by the pool and walk easily to restaurants and shops on King street. Enjoyed the museums and the walk to the water. Perfect!

Great house in an excellent location. One suggestion would be to have umbrellas set up in the pool area. It was literally too hot to sit by the pool most afternoons due to the lack of any kind of shade.

The only complaint was the third floor. The right hand bedroom was so small, no one wanted to sleep in that small room. The fuse blew 3x when the hair dryer was put on with the fans on so the owner should look into that. Also an umbrella out by the pool is very much needed with 90 temps and lastly we loved the house but location on St Phillip was sketchy, not the best at night.

The house was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and they provided everything needed. The pool was hot and lovely. It’s an incredibly location! The host was easy to talk with and accommodating! Wonderful experience!

We had a problem with one of the third floor bedrooms, they had termite droppings. We were unable to do anything that first night. They did send someone out the next morning to confirm it was that. They treated areas and checked the whole house. Cleaning service came in, but unfortunately we did not feel comfortable staying up on that third floor. I do feel that those two rooms are useless. The house itself is very old which we knew but everything else was fine. It’s in a great location. Very busy street but worth it to be so close to everything.

Great location in walking distance to restaurants, bars and tourist sites. Plenty of space for a large group. It can be noisy being on a busy street and right next to a club but they have sound machines available in the rooms.

Th is home was in an urban setting and was very, very loud. We were close to the firehouse and heard emergency sirens throughout the night. There were several very loud and raucous party/bar venues that were noisy late into the night that kept us from having any relaxing evenings. The home was right on the street and you could hear people shouting all night long, Inside, the home was decorated nicely, but the kitchen and bathrooms had very basic amenities. It was very walkable, though, and we were close to retail shops and city tours. Overall, our stay was very mediocre. I would not recommend this home for older folks or families. Young partiers would have great time here!

As noted in our listing, the home is located in a vibrant urban downtown Charleston setting, which offers convenient access to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and historic attractions. With that central location, guests may occasionally experience typical city activity, including nearby nightlife, pedestrian traffic, emergency vehicles, and general street noise particularly during evenings and weekends. To help make stays more comfortable, sound machines are provided in each bedroom for guest use. We also appreciate your comments regarding the kitchen and bathroom amenities. While we may not provide hotel-style daily restocking the home is stocked with a fully equipped kitchen along with essential bathroom amenities including large 16oz pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, hairdryers, linens, and other standard guest necessities intended to make stays comfortable and convenient. Girls birthday trip

This was the perfect stay for a group of friends to celebrate a birthday! The house was exactly as the listing depicted and the pool was perfect! Great location and while there is construction happening on the street it was still a wonderful trip.

Delicious location

Came to town for a conference with friends/colleagues and this house was not only charming and comfortable but literal steps away from some very favorite restaurants. Chez Nous, Malagon, Baba's on Cannon, The Grocery, Chubby Fish and The Ordinary are some of Charleston's best and so close! Will definitely book this beautiful home again.

Couples weekend

We arrived right after tropical storm Debby. There were a few issues but the management team at Guesthouse were extremely responsive and did their best to address anything that came up. I would recommend staying at a Guesthouse property.
