The Botanist sits on the shores of Leech Lake, one of the BEST fishing lakes in the country. You get TWO cabins for your party to enjoy. A 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom log cabin, and a smaller cozy guest cabin with 1 bedroom, 1 loft bedroom and 1 bathroom.

The outdoor space boasts a barrel sauna, fire pit and screen porch. So you can relax away the stresses with views of the lake.

The Botanist is a luxury log cabin retreat on Leech Lake. With 2 log cabins, the properties comfortably accommodate 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

The properties were recently renovated to a high standard in 2024 with quality furnishings, and luxury bathrooms.

☆☆ MAIN CABIN ☆☆

As you enter the main cabin you're greeted with a vast great room with vaulted ceilings and a cozy seating area around a grand fireplace.

The kitchen is also located in the great room and has plenty of room to prepare a meal for the entire party. It has new Samsung appliances - dishwasher, fridge-freezer, range, microwave hood. There's also a wine fridge in the island. The kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you'll need, and a fully stocked coffee and tea bar. There is also informal seating area to enjoy breakfast.

The main floor opens up to a light-filled dining room with views all round to Leech Lake. With a grand live edge slab dining table and seating for 12 people, the dining room is the ideal place for celebratory meals, or even just your everyday dinner.

There is also a powder room and laundry room on the main floor.

The master suite (the Fern Bedroom) can be found on the main floor, with king canopy bed and patio doors that open onto a deck with Polywood loungers for two. There's a large walk-in closet and master bathroom with freestanding soaker tub, walk-in shower and double vanity. You'll find marble floors, quartz countertops and frameless glass shower enclosures in this room for added luxury.

As you head downstairs to the lower walk-out level, you'll find the games room with air hockey table, bar area, large smart TV to watch the game, card / games table, plenty of games and books and grand fireplace.

Off the games room are three bedrooms and a bathroom. To the left is a secondary master suite (the Butterfly Bedroom), with king bed, a large walk-in closet, and master bathroom with shower and double vanity.

To the right you'll find a second king bedroom (the Bee Bedroom) with large closet, and a twin bed room (the Mushroom Bedroom) with two twin beds and large closet.

All bedrooms are themed with a tasteful botanical or naturalist theme to give them a distinct personality.

☆☆ GUEST CABIN ☆☆

The guest cabin is charming and cozy, and continues the botanical / naturalist theme. On the main floor is an open concept living / dining / kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and loft bedroom.

The kitchen has a SMEG fridge-freezer and retro style appliances. There is a locally hand-made live edge bar table with seating for an enjoyable breakfast. There is a fully stocked coffee and tea bar for all your caffeine needs.

On the main level you will also find a twin bed room (the Flora Bedroom) with two twin beds and smart TV, ideal to keep the kids entertained.

There is a full bathroom on the main level with a shower and single vanity. Marble floors and quartz counters are continued in this bathroom as well.

Upstairs you'll find a loft bedroom (Pine Tree Loft) with queen bed and beautiful views of the tree canopy.

☆☆ OUTSIDE ☆☆

Outside the properties you'll find a firepit with 12 Polywood Adirondack chairs. There's a relaxing screen porch overlooking the lake to enjoy a bug-free evening drink. There are two balcony decks with Polywood bar seating for 12 on the main deck and Big Green Egg grill station, and 2 Polywood loungers off the master suite.
The guest cabin has the second balcony deck with bar seating for 2.

There's a path that leads down to the Leech Lake with private dock to enjoy the water. There's a variety of paddleboards and canoes to use.

Perhaps the pièce de résistance is the barrel sauna located just outside the main cabin, and is ideal to relax the stresses away

There is a car garage for guest use, and a large driveway that can accommodate multiple cars comfortably.
