**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. Daufuskie Island is a BRIDGE-LESS barrier island situated between Hilton Head SC and Savannah GA. You can only access this rental by water taxi. Upon arriving to Daufuskie, you will need land transportation to your rental. During your stay your means of transportation will be a golf cart. Explore Daufuskie is partnered with excellent boat captains with options from Savannah and Hilton Head. We can coordinate any or all of these reservations for you. This peaceful 3BR/2BTH house situated in the Historic offers a quiet secluded getaway. It's perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation. The kitchen/living area offers a spacious open floor plan. 2 bedrooms are downstairs, both equipped with a full size bed. There is a full size bathroom room downstairs with shower/tub combo. Full size stackable washer/dryer. The staircase leads to an upstairs balcony that is equipped with a twin bed/trundle bed underneath. The third bedroom is upstairs and equipped with a queen size bed with bathroom (tub/shower combo).

This rental comes with a 4 passenger golf cart (additional carts available for larger parties at a discounted rate).

The public beach access is a short 5 minute drive from the house. 4 beach chairs and 1 umbrella provided. Minutes from local restaurants and artisan shops. Pool access available at Melrose Beach Club (Daily passes available for purchase at the pool location)

What we were looking for

Property description and details were as listed. Our family was looking for a property that allowed us to "escape" for a bit and that is what we got. Location was quiet but convenient to explore the island within a short golf cart ride.

Great place

The property is as advertised. Great place to stay especially if you’re coming in a private boat. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The loft and barn are completely redone and everything is brand new. Misty is a great host and lives nearby on the island. She checked us in and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Would definitely stay there again.
