Poppy's Cottage - great stay

This is a great house. Wonderful location easy to bike/walk everywhere and plenty of space for the 11 of us. The kitchen could use some extra items. We were only able to find 2 kitchen towels, the martini shaker had multiple tops but no base and there was a random assortment of mismatched wine glasses. For that size/price house we were surprised by this. Overall would definitely come back!

Poppy's is wonderful! The home owners and property management have thought of every detail to make our stay memorable! Very well maintained and luxurious home. Cannot say enough good things about this property.

The property was beautiful and extremely clean. There were enough towels, pillows, dishes and cleaning supplies. One of the nicest houses we have rented for a vacation. It was difficult to find the trash cans outside as they were behind a door marked “do not enter”. We also paid to have the pool heated and it certainly did not feel heated at all. Definitely not worth the additional expense. The pool was also a lot smaller than the pictures make it seem and was very dirty. There were leaves and even a food wrapper floating around when we arrived. The skimmer was also in the do not enter area so we did not find it in time. We also had an alarm issue on the final day where an alarm continually sounded. We texted management but there wasn’t really a helpful response. Also just a heads up that if anyone opens the backyard door, a pool alarm sounds in the bedrooms so it was easy to accidentally wake people up. Our complaints are mostly nitpicky issues and I would recommend this property.

Hi Mackenzie, thank you so much for staying with us and for the thoughful feedback! We wanted to honor your pool heating request so it was turned on and set to the max temperature for your stay, but August is usually one of the hottest months of the year here so the pool water is already extremely hot, so it likely was only able to increase the temperature by a few degrees. We do have pool maintenance and cleanings performed on a weekly basis, and usually keep the net by the pool equipment as not to clutter the yard, but will be sure to put that in a more visible location per your feedback! We did receive your note on a beeping in the kitchen in the hour before your departure and while we did respond, we didn't have an answer for what it would be, but after checking the home, it looks like the under counter fridge wasn't closed all the way and was beeping - nothing too sinister!

We had a wonderful stay in Poppy’s Cottage. The house is beautiful and spacious with the most comfortable beds (all of us raved about how well we slept!). Everything is a quick walk from the house, including the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. We loved the beach - it was not at all crowded, which was a nice surprise given it is a busy time of year. The weather was very stormy the first few days of our stay, yet we still found the house relaxing and enjoyable to be in until things cleared up. We would not hesitate to return at some point in the future!

Beautiful House - Great location

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Poppy's Cottage. The house was beautiful and had a great layout for our family...plenty of room to hang out and have large family dinners (indoors and outdoors), well appointed en suite bedrooms, and the kids loved having their own space on the 3rd floor. We loved that the property was next to the gym, Sky Pool, and tennis courts...and the Yolo bikes were so much better than ones we have had at other properties. We will definitely stay here again!

Poppy's Cottage Rosemary Beach

Location-5+ House-5 (Note: master bath door did not close) Pool was great! Kitchen was nice and big and functional (Note: the big oven on the range did not seem to work. Set the temp and the function (broil) - the temperature appeared to heat up digitally, but not heat at all. The little oven worked just fine. We had a great time! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great house and location!

Poppy's Cottage was absolutely perfect, especially for a group that loves to cook! The large chef's kitchen was a dream come true. We spent many evenings cooking together and hanging out around the island. The dining table outside was big enough to fit our entire group. The kids couldn't get enough of the swimming pool. The backyard was so serene with its beautiful fountains, palm trees, and umbrellas. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind..especially for my morning coffee. Last time we stayed in the area, we were by the Big Chill/Prominence and had to drive to a public beach. Staying at Rosemary Beach was a completely different and far better experience. The private beach access made all the difference, allowing us to enjoy the beach without the hassle of driving and parking. We absolutely love the town of Rosemary Beach. It's so charming and quaint, offering a unique and delightful atmosphere. You can stay elsewhere on 30A and have a great time, but nothing beats the charm and convenience of Rosemary.

Perfect for our gathering of 12

Our family had an amazing stay at Poppy's Cottage! The private beach access made our beach days convenient and fun. The cottage itself is gorgeous, modern, and has a great layout. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed, from toiletries to a fully equipped kitchen to some beach toys. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and each bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. Our kids absolutely loved the bunk room on the 3rd floor — it was their favorite part of the house! Having six bikes was fantastic. We rode them every day, exploring the beautiful streets and paths of Rosemary Beach. The private heated pool was another highlight. It was the perfect place for us to relax and play after a day at the beach. The kids also played at the indoor Sky pool just behind the house...which was neat, especially at night. The location is perfect—just a short walk/bike cruise to the beach and restaurants. It's also very close to the tennis courts which we used often. Jake, on the management team, was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Overall, Poppy's Cottage gave us a wonderful family vacation. We can't wait to come back and make more memories. Highly recommend for families looking for a luxurious and convenient beach getaway!
