The house ended up working well for us, but they were definitely some glitches and problems.Positives… the house is only a three minute drive to Lucas oil Stadium and the Indianapolis convention center. The house is in an old section of town and also a nice family neighborhood. The house was clean when we arrived.Negatives… The house is very old and is worn down. I alerted the owner to many problems and she has communicated that she is planning on upgrading furniture, adding more amenities so that the house can actually be suitable for large groups, and repair many small problems throughout the house. The house is charming, but old and worn out. The pictures lead the renter to believe it’s a glamorous house. It charming and cozy, it is not glamorous.

Here for Indy 500 weekend

Place was great, and Hadar was easy to work with / communicate with. If we are back next year, will certainly look to stay with him again!

It was nice! The house was older than we thought and it took a while for the A/C to cool the house down once we turned it on, but the owner apologized and said it should have been turned on in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and the timely communication!

Roomy and quaint!

Enjoyed our stay, property manager was always quick to reply and made sure to help make us feel at home. Our kids really had fun staying in their own room with the bunk beds. Place was clean and offered a variety of things to make this easy for quick cooking!

Had a great time, house was big enough for everyone that came! Close to everything! Great location not to bad Uber prices from this location cause u are in town! Had a great birthday weekend! Will come again

PROS: This is a lovely older home with many charming features including a cozy (I wouldn’t call it huge) living space, comfortable beds, and nice appliances. Although we didn’t use them, there is also a very nice washer and dryer/laundry room. Prior to our check in, the host was extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions. This would be a delightful home to stay in during the cooler weather months!CONS: When we arrived, the main level of the house was 80 degrees and the upstairs was way hotter. I had noticed in a past comment by a guest that the same thing had happened to them and they said the host replied with an apology and said that should have been taken care of before they arrived, so I assumed turning down the AC was part of the pre check-in protocol for the host. Anyway, we cranked the AC down and gave it a few hours, knowing older houses take time, but it never got below 77 degrees for the 18 hours we were there. (And that’s just in the dining room where the thermostat and main/strongest air vent are both located; the rest of the house was much hotter.) We ended up having great difficulty getting a response from the host and getting the issue resolved, which unfortunately led to us needing to move to a different house. Once we did finally get in touch with the host he was apologetic and sent someone the next day, but it was a longer repair job than he anticipated. Some more attention to care and details of the home would make it an even better property.
