Welcome to our Blissful Basecamp! This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with 2 patios and a large back yard has been recently remodeled throughout. A cozy retreat strictly for short term stays that offers the comforts of home in a stylish and inviting setting. From beaches to breweries, wineries to weddings, our basecamp is the perfect place to call home while being close to all that our area has to offer. You'll love the feeling of seclusion the property offers along with the proximity to the fun in several nearby towns. The kids will love the big back yard with plenty of room to run and play.

Use the keypad to unlock the door, step inside and you'll be greeted by a bright and airy living room with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a delicious meal, and the adjacent dining area is ideal for enjoying it with friends and family. Unwind at night by logging into your streaming apps to watch your favorite movies or shows on one of 3 smart TVs.

Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds along with a dresser and closet in each for your belongings. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two twin beds. The two bathrooms feature modern fixtures and plenty of towels and toiletries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. One bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower, while the other has a tub/shower combination, providing options for all your bathing needs.

For your spring, summer and fall enjoyment, escape outdoors to the 2 patios and large back yard. Our home also offers an outdoor grill, woodburning firepit and plenty of outdoor seating (seasonally). Whether you're grilling up your favorite meals or enjoying a nightcap under the stars, you'll find the outdoor space a perfect place to unwind and relax.

Need to do some laundry during your stay? No problem! Our onsite laundry room has everything you need to keep your clothes clean and fresh.

This house was in pristine condition and spotless. The two outdoor patio spaces were very nice. The hosts thought of absolutely everything that might be needed for toiletries, laundry, games, beach equipment, and kitchen prep. Very convenient to St Joseph downtown shops, restaurants, Silver Beach, Tiscornia Beach, and Warren Dunes State Park. We enjoyed our sister’s weekend stay and would highly recommend it to others seeking to enjoy the St Joseph area.

We’ve stayed in a lot of homes in multiple states for multiple getaways and this home made it to #1 on our list! The home is so comfortable and beautifully updated. We loved the story that this was the owner’s grandparents home! The owners thought of everything to stock the home. Perfect for families with all the outdoor games (and space!), board games, and supplies for a day at the beach. Thank you for providing such a cozy home for our getaway to St. Joe!

Fall Getaway

We stayed in this immaculate and tastefully decorated home in St. Joe for a few days while we explored the area and enjoyed the fall colors. What first struck me was that this did not feel like a rental property - we felt like we were guests in someone’s home. Laura and Dale provided for our every need. The home was conveniently located to St. Joe as well as other small towns worth exploring. We would most definitely visit this home again.

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful home while we were in St. Joes to visit our grandchildren. The pictures accurately represent the inside of the house, which is extremely nice and updated, but do not do justice to the magnificent yard and landscaping. We loved staying here for many reasons, we'd give it 6 stars if we could, but what stood out was the cleanliness and the entire home was updated so well. It is also extremely well appointed from the kitchen (pretty much everything you need), to the bathrooms (shampoo, and toiletries provided), to the living space (tons of games and cozy blankets). And when our grandchildren visited, they had fun playing in the yard with the toys provided; the adults stayed by the firepit which was wonderful. We came in October, so we weren't focused on the beach, but I noticed a closet fully equipped with beach towels, chairs, and sand toys. Check in was a breeze and our hosts responded immediately to anything we needed. It was a great stay!

Amazing stay!!

My husband and I are expecting our second daughter next month so we booked this trip as a getaway for just the two of us to enjoy some time together. We stayed in St Joseph 8 years ago before we were even engaged and thought it would be the perfect location to spend our Baby Moon. We are so happy we chose this house to stay at! It was so clean and organized and the aesthetic of the entire house was absolutely stunning. The owners did a great job making it feel like we were at home and they provided everything we could’ve needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we love that they provided games to play as well. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back again! No complaints at all!

This place is a gold mine of a find. I don’t usually write many reviews unless I’m either blown away or really disappointed and in this case, I’m seriously impressed. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to Silver Beach for easy access but far enough to feel peaceful.When they say it's completely remodeled, they mean it. The work done here is top-notch and you can see the quality in every detail. Honestly, the photos don’t even do it justice, especially the main bathroom. The shower in person is immaculate.The house is spotless, super comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could want, tons of board games, a huge backyard with every yard game you can think of, a cozy fire pit and all the comforts of home. For the price, this place is a steal. I wish every vacation rental was like this but properties this nice are rare.Laura was also incredibly responsive and checkout was the easiest I’ve ever had with a VRBO. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful and Clean

We were the first visitors to this newly remodeled home. It was absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean. The beds were comfortable. We could not have wanted for anything. The hosts thought of every little detail. Way too many to list, but suffice to say that I don't think there was anything missing. All the way from the cozy blankets in the LR to the bottle of wine (which we did not use, but still a wonderful thought)! The hosts were responsive to my questions and very helpful. It was February, so we did not utilize any outdoor items, but the backyard looked great for kids and families. Thank you for having us!
