Casa Tucan luxury home has everything you need and more for your surf and beach vacation. This beautiful home is located just a short walking distance to one of the most popular surf breaks called Playa Grande, which is bit more than 1 hour drive from the Liberia Airport. The house and apartment sleep 10 guests total and are only rented together. Casa Tucan has private pool, large covered rancho lounging area with beautiful patio furniture, large gas grill.

THE SPACE
Grand open floor plan with 24 foot ceilings and abundant natural light. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all new stainless-steel appliances, cherry cabinetry and beautiful bright quartz countertops. Live edge Dining table seating for 10 and comfortable island seating for 4 more.
A living room overlooking beautiful tropical gardens. The internet speed is 100mb download and is fast for remote working, tele-conferencing, and media streaming. All of this surrounded by gorgeous framed art, beautiful rugs and custom made window treatments with beautiful tropical colors.

FIVE BEDROOM SUITES
Of the 5 bedrooms, two are in the main house (including a spacious master suites feature king-size bed) and three more in the guest house. The spa-like bathrooms feature rain-head showers and custom built vanities. Three guest suites feature queen beds and the "kid's" room features two twin-sized beds.

POOL AND RANCHO
Our pool and Rancho lounge areas are the most popular areas of the house with outdoor sofas, dining area positioned next to a 36" built-in Gas BBQ, and ceiling fan, fridge and sink.

SECURITY AND HOUSEKEEPING
Casa Tucan is managed by a professional property management team to assist you with booking tours, or concierge services during your stay.
Some popular activities: Surfing/lessons, boogie boarding, Golf, Miles of beach to walk and explore, ziplining, jungle canopy rainforest tours, volcano and hot springs, ATV and golf cart rentals, Turtle watching, Deep sea fishing, sunset sailing, snorkeling, horseback riding on the beach at sunset, spa and massage treatments.

We loved the property and the communication from the property manager. Would stay here again. Close to the beach and lots of wildlife to observe! The folks at Cafe Mar Azul down the street have great food and service! Lovely property.

We had an amazing time here with 4 couples and plenty of room for everyone. We loved the outdoor space! Great location close to the beach, restaurants, and markets. Quiet neighborhood with monkeys in the trees to greet us. Communication was excellent with Kristi. Loved Playa Grande beach and will be back soon!

Wonderful House- immersed in nature

Casa Tucan is an amazing house, perfectly located in Playa Grande. My party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the property and everything it had to offer....from the family of howler monkeys that appear periodically in the treetops next to the pool, to the well laid out home, the experience was all we had hoped for. The restaurants within walking distance were fantastic, as were the restaurants right outside of the neighborhood and we tried them all. We can't wait to go back in the very near future! Thank you Casa Tucan for the experience of a lifetime!

One of the most amazing beach properties I’ve ever stayed at. Playa Grande is a hidden gem. This home is wonderful. We have a large family with small children so the separate bedrooms were a bit of a nuisance, particularly given the doors in and out of the structures are locked and unlocked only with keys (not manually, even from the inside). This meant putting kids to bed, with their doors to the outside world locked, and then locking them out of the main structure. It felt a bit isolating. For a party of all adults, no big deal. My other suggestion is to have a wagon and some beach chairs and beach umbrella available to guests. Many similar properties offer this. Otherwise a total gem and 100% recommended as the perfect place to stay in Guanacaste.

Palm Beach Estates is set back with direct access to the beautiful, uncrowded Playa Grande beach. While you can see Tamarindo it is separated by an estuary and keeps the crowds away, though accessible with a short drive.

Palm Beach is a beautiful community established some 30 years ago with Europeans, some of whom have settled here. While the area is peaceful and safe, we also have night watchmen who monitor the area.

What makes this property unique

Casa Tucan is set back from the road in a spacious double lot with beautiful gardens, large Guanacaste trees (favorite hangouts for Howler monkeys), with the back of the house abutting the 150 meters of protection zone from the beach for the Tortugas.
