My daughter and I took a last minute girls getaway this place was perfect. We very much enjoyed how close it was to the beach. This was our first time to Michigan Beach and it met all our expectations. The host was very accommodating and everything was as it was described.

Very clean. Cute decor. Ownership group very responsive regarding in stay questions. Access to the beach is a short walk (might be a bit further than pictures indicate), but the path to the beach is covered in plastic panels that make the trek easy and relatively sand free.

Beach view was not there at all, and the big tree by the deck kind of hindered any sun tanning. Still enjoying the condo and easy access to beach. The host were great. Very responsive and eager to make my trip enjoyable.

Great rental for a getaway! Exactly as described and pictured. Clean and convenient. A short stroll over the dune to get to the lake. We walked down the beach to the lighthouse pier…one mile each way. Overall a great place and we will be back!

The sheets were very soft and lovely. There is a trail to the beach next to the property. There are no elevated views of the lake in Michigan City Ind. The land is flat from glaciers. Note: The only way to experience it is to take trails from parks or streets. It is truly a hidden gem!

The condo was the perfect size for 2 adults and a child. The decor was cute and comfortable and had everything we needed. The futon sofa was easy to use and surprisingly very comfortable. We loved that beach chairs and towels were included. The deck was relaxing and quiet. Entry, arrival, and leaving were simple with the key pads on the doors. The best part was that we were a 5 minute walk away from beautiful lake Michigan. The path was just down the street and lead straight to the beach. We will definitely be back! So happy we found this little gem with a great location.

The listing said it's for 4, but the couch is the most uncomfortable coach I've ever sat in. Cant imagine sleeping on it. A TV in the bedroom would be nice, but its a VERY small place over-all.

Great Location

Check in was incredibly easy. Great location! Short walk with mats to the beach so you don't have to struggle through the sand. Beach wasn't too busy. Could see the dune but not the lake from our balcony. Close enough to walk the beach to the lighthouse. We had an issue with the door code on the last day. Didn't have a direct number for the host after booking but were able to get ahold of them. Answered phone right away and assisted with issue.

Great Location, small space

Easy one block walk to beach access close to the public restrooms. Communication from the owner was quick. Space was smaller than we expected, but was fine for my wife and I and 2 year old. Living room/kitchen area very small and the bedroom is 80% covered by the bed. Nice balcony/back deck probably 10x10 or so. We were trapped in our room or the balcony while the baby was napping. Wouldn’t recommend for anything more than a couple. I saw a few reviews knocking the bed but I thought it was comfortable. I’d reccomend the owners stock more towels and items for the beach for guests. Would be nice if all of the back decks had stairs to get to the communal area. The kitchen faucet wasn’t working properly, they quickly got someone to look at it and I assume will be back to working properly soon.

Great location but...

The location is probability the best part of this property and being close walking distance to the beach, outside of that you feel like you are in a small apartment with paperthin walls we stayed for our anniversary, and woke up about 730am to abunch of little kids stomping running around and making noise for about 2 hours, be aware of the main entrance the battery died to the main door for our stay luckily another guest that was staying there let us in our we would have been locked out waiting around for awhile for the maintenance to fix the door, the staff respond pretty quick all though you feel like your reaching out to a international corporation outside the country for help on any matters, fridge water dispenser or ice maker would not work the unit its self needs some touch ups bedroom had some scuffs and definitely needed a tv for the bedroom, cleanliness of the unit when we got there, there was old shampoo and body washes from previous guests and some grime around the bathroom baseboards along with chips in the trash can. Not trying to complain too much just giving a honest review, as for the parking be aware and try to find a spot early because you might find your selves walking 2 blocks away due to people parking everywhere trying to get to the beach. We stayed on off days as for the price very high for a off day cant imagine the cost for the weekend, try and shop around if you can, the place is great but no so great at the same time.

Hi Shane, we are sorry to hear your stay did not go as you had hoped. We have taken note of the cleaning issues you mentioned and communicated with our cleaning team to make sure it does not happen again. The shampoo and body washes were not left by previous guests, they are provided as a convenience. Regarding the other items you mentioned, we wish you would have taken the time to communicate with us more during your stay. We recieved one message regarding the lock and we had our maintenance team on site within an hour to repair. If the other guest was not there to let you in, we also have the ability to open it for you remotely. There are 5 units total on the property, some noise from bordering units can be expected during daytime hours. If you would have communicated the noise to us that early in the morning, we would’ve reached out to the guest to resolve. Our team is not an international corporation, I responded to several messages personally and Samantha responded as well. We appreciate your feedback and will use this as an opportunity to improve.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is small but it was fine for the two of us. Very clean and so nice that beach chairs and towels were provided. And the air conditioning was great! Nice and cool, no complaints. Close access to the beach couldn't be beat. I loved the walking mats up the sand and that there was a restroom at the start. The host was always reaching out to make sure everything was going ok with our stay. We will definitely be back!
