Wonderful house in Chevy Chase

We loved our stay at this wonderful house in Chevy Chase! The hosts, Harmon and Griff, were wonderful. They were generous, open hearted, thoughtful, and responsive. The house is beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The house is a short, comfortable walk to a lovely French restaurant and little market, and only a few minutes by car to many enjoyable places in the north DC area. You are 15-20 minutes from Dupont Circle, and even closer to Rock Creek Park, giving you dramatically different points of view of the city. We could not recommend this place more highly.

We were so fortunate to have such lovely and considerate guests as Fernan and Pam. They loved our home and took care of it in the way we do. Having them enjoy their vacation as much as we did, ours, made us very happy!

We've lived in Chevy Chase for 40 years. This house we bought 15 years ago after our children grew up. It is perfect for the two of us but allows us, also, to have many over-nite guests. The neighborhood, Martins Additions, is lovely with trees and flowers gardens. The residents are a mixture of families with children of all ages and couples. Our grandchildren love staying with us with all the other kids around and the park and playgrounds within walking distance. We are outdoorsy people so we love the mixture of outside activities and privacy when

Why they chose this property

Our children and grandchildren all went to the excellent day cares and public schools, again, within walking, biking and 5 to 10 minute driving distance. Though so much is close by our street is quiet and nestled.

What makes this property unique

I think the many windows bring wonderful light. The many trees shade us enough so that it stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Also, 4 Bedrooms and 4 Full Baths and a beautiful living area with a fireplace make this house so livable.
