We had a grest time during our stay. We saw several chipmunks and even a fox. Breckenridge was just a short drive from here. Just FYI, the roads to the house are very bumpy and rough in spots. Thankfully we were in an suv and didnt have any problems. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of room for my family.
The Krowne Cabin was the perfect place for our family to stay. You are surrounded by trees for privacy (you can’t see any neighbors) and gorgeous views! We went on walks every morning and saw wildlife and breathtaking views. There are plenty of hikes in the area, but Breckenridge and Buena Vista are close if you want to shop or go white water rafting. The town of Fairplay is also very charming and offers mining history and a little 1800s museum/town. The home was very well maintained and clean. It also had more supplies than any VRBO rental we have ever visited, so it’s ok if you forget to pack your coffee Tristan gave us suggestions for places to go before we arrived to help us plan for our trip and he was quick to respond whenever we had a question. If you want a place with lots to do, but is away from the crowds I recommend this hidden gem. I would definitely return to this property and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
