It was a great location for us, between friends and family. We are avid kayakers and had kayaks delivered for the week from Paddle Naples and had many places to paddle to and around.
Beautifully landscaped house in a quiet neighborhood. The interior was great, but the pool area was the star. Pool and spa were great for relaxing with plenty of comfortable chairs for lounging.
The property was immaculate and seemed almost new. Andrew was a wonderful host. We had a couple of requests, and he responded very quickly. The main photo online does not do this properly justice; the home is larger with pleasing landscaping and yard leading to the canal. The spa/hot tub was greatly.
We stayed at the property for almost a week and had a great time. The pool was being fed by the hot tub, so for a few days it was at 101 degrees. Had a hard time turning down the thermostat, but eventually worked it out with the owner to turn off the heater all together. The pool was down to 90 by the last day. Also the water pressure plummeted mid-trip, but the owner came by that day and it was better than ever by that evening.Overall it was a good stay.

Thank you for booking the house. We’re excited for your next visit. We'll make sure to provide clearer instructions in the future, highlighting that there are two thermostats: one for the pool heater and another on the pool control panel. It seems the previous guest set the pool heat to 101°, thinking it was for the spa, which caused the pool to heat up quickly. We have also added some new features to the house for your next visit. Looking forward to welcoming you back!
Had to make a last minute change to our lodging with Hurricane Milton. Host was very responsive. House was nice. Missed the pool but couldn’t be helped with debris from storm. King beds in all 3 bedrooms. 2nd bathroom a little small in 2nd bedroom.
Great to have a nice place on short notice.
While our experience in this house was below standards for anyone that prefers cleanliness and service, I didn’t feel compelled to write a review until the host tried charging us $250 for stealing pillows in vacant rooms that we never slept in. The other reviews of this home mention the pool which is nice, however, the inside lacked cleanliness. Take one look at the couch, supposed to be a light blue color, but instead so dirty that we wouldn’t sit on it. My children’s legs were black crawling around inside. There was dog hair all over the sheets/comforter of the master (which we knew the property was pet friendly but didn’t expect dirty sheets). Tried using the bathtub but couldn’t because of some type of mildew spewing out of the faucet. No towels stocked in either bathroom (which we were told was because of a large party before us. I don’t see how that justifies lack of service). A cleaning lady notified the host that we stole four pillows. Who would want used pillows, which I’m sure were covered in dog hair too? When discussing this issue with the host, he mentioned for me to “take a chill pill”, a solid 3rd grade response from a business professional, and said that we rented in the summer for a cheap rate as if that makes up for it. This charge was removed after we were told that the previous renters had young children, broke things, and the host never did a thorough inspection prior to our arrival. I wish we could attach our pics in this review. Look elsewhere.
