Located on Beautiful Pine Creek, a 15 minute drive from downtown Wellsboro!

This property is located on beautiful Pine Creek. The location offers easy access to Pine Creek for kayaking or swimming, as well as breath-taking views of the mountains. With 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a 2nd floor great room this lodge will accommodate the whole family! In addition to water activities, we are close to many riding (ATV, bicycle or horse back) & hiking trails, 15 minutes from downtown Wellsboro, 15 minutes from Galeton, and 40 minutes from Coudersport.

Our base rate is for a maximum of 8 guests. Any guests above 8 will be charged at $20.00/guest per night. Please message us for anything over 18 guests.

Our extended family of 13 enjoyed a wonderful stay at Big Meadows Lodge. The floor plans gave lots of room for meals and kids to just hang out. The 8 bedrooms were more than enough. Everything was neat and tidy. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly. The lodge is located right next to Pine Creek and about 10 minutes from Wellsboro. We also enjoyed biking on the nearby Pine Creek Tail trail. A very enjoyable time at this cabin.

Big Meadows Lodge was all that we expected and more. We enjoyed easy access to Pine Creek, a 5 minute bike ride to the Rail Trail and a easy walk up the road to the West Rim Trail Head. The house was laid out so well with some bedroom sharing bathrooms and others with their own private bathroom. The kitchen was very well stocked with a great variety of dishes and utensils and the shed had lots of chairs and had plenty of room for us to store our bikes. We loved sitting on the porches enjoying the mountain view and the great variety of birds in the area. The rooms were spacious with plenty of beds for everyone with extra room to move about. The house instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Huge place to hang with your people at a great value

Very roomy house with large, flat backyard. Being next to Pine Creek was wonderful! It Is only about a mile or less to the trail trail and 15 minutes to Wellsboro. Owner was very responsive. I would love to rent this again!

We had lots of fun in the creek with dollar store water guns, we went to the Big Falls water hole. And played wiffle ball in the back yard till the bugs got us. The kitchen had everything, lots of bathrooms, and lots of towels and washclothes for all of us. Had everything we needed

Perfect PA Grand Canyon Family Vacation

Perfect place to stay with multiple families! Right in the middle of all the trails and overlooks. Also, right by the creek. The house is big and beautiful and has everything you need and more!

My wife Barb and I purchased this property in 2012. At the time there was only a single-wide mobile home on the property. My 4 children, 3 nieces, their spouses and our 13 grandchildren spent the following 5 years building and putting our personal touch into Big Meadows Lodge. It may not be the fanciest place that you will stay, but one thing is for sure, there is a lot of love in this place. A love for family, a love for friends, and most of all a love for our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ! To God be the Glory, Amen!

We chose this location because it was right on Pine Creek.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique because it is so close to many tourist attractions, and yet far enough away for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of Tioga County. The other feature is that the Conservation District maintains the road and they do not plow the one side of the road when it snows so Snowmobilers can get to the many trails to snowmobile.
