Really nice getaway for our young family and dog. Close enough to Sunriver to take advantage of family activities there, but far enough to feel secluded and enjoy the quiet. We enjoyed the easy walks to the big Ponderosa Pine and river access. The Cub Cave was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the grill outside and the gas fireplace inside when a cold front surprised us.

The property is right next to a state park with a lot of space - a great place to exercise dogs! Also the neighborhood is quiet and worked well for us to walk our dogs in also. The Cub Cabin was very friendly with hard floors and good dog amenities throughout. We'll be back soon!

La Pine retreat

The cub cave has all the amenities for a quiet, relaxing getaway - while having easy access to the state park for hiking, biking and river play. The hosts were responsive, shared local knowledge and kept a low profile. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing bachelorette trip away

We had a great stay at this property. The views in the photo are so accurate and it truly is right on the river. We were able to go a walk/hike right out of our front door down to the river. Easy check in and check out process and great communication with owners.
