Rare. Refined. Entirely worth it.

Book it before someone else does.

Winter at Big Sky
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it is a mountain that delivers for every level of skier and rider.
When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the number one cross country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world class spa experiences are all within easy reach. There is no such thing as running out of things to do here.

Summer in the Mountains
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season. Big Sky in the summer is one of those places that makes you start looking at real estate.

We wanted to stay until 12 on check out day and you guys wanted a 1/2 day of rental fee despite the fact that no one was coming that day. We couldn't find the chlorine tablets and the spa should be checked on at least once. You didn't want us to drop our stuff off in the garage so we could ski the first day we arrived. Great place but wouldn't come back. I understand that these requests are a little outside the standard requests, but they wouldn't have been hard to accommodate. Sanjay

Overall our experience was mediocre. The booking process with Stay Montana was unusual. I disliked having to leave the app to sign documents and pay. If I book with VRBO I’d expect all communication, payments, and documents through VRBO. The stay itself was okay but the Wi-Fi was intermittent to non functional. We were never able to locate the router to reset it and believe it was most likely behind one of the locked doors which we didn’t have access to.Upon check in we were only provided with 3 rolls of paper towels and a few rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. There were 0 boxes of tissues in the house too. While it does state it’s only a starter amount of paper goods provided for the hefty price tag associated with the house which can accommodate lots of guests it just seems ridiculous to not include extra toilet paper or paper towels. The kitchen had a lack luster selection of pots, pans, and other cooking utensils. There were no chemicals of any kind provided for the hot tub which made it become unusable by the second day due to the high PH and horrid odor it gave off. Lastly the code provided only gave us access to the front door not the garage side door. Which meant to lock up when leaving you always had to use the front door.
