About this property

Rest, relax, and reel in the views or the fish!

Experience the unique sensation of living right on the water. Our floating retreat provides a peaceful escape where the ripples of the lake will gently rock your worries away. Cast your line directly from the covered front porch or simply kick back, read a book and enjoy the view. Conveniently located just a few minutes from shopping and dining in Morristown and 30 minutes from Exit 407, the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg).

This is an open floor plan, so it is nice and spacious when everyone is awake and it quickly transitions to the perfect place to catch some zzz's when you're ready for bed. The sofa folds out into a queen size bed. The day bed is a twin size bed with an additional twin trundle tucked below. All linens are provided, so you don't have to worry about lugging more than your favorite pillow or beach towels.

The kitchen/dining area features a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

During peak months, there is a ship store that is open that has a small deli, snacks, and drinks. They provide live entertainment every weekend.
There is also a huge patio where you can play corn hole and ring toss or feed the pet fish- all you have to do is walk down the dock! There are a variety of food trucks that come on the event nights. Be sure to check out their website/social media pages for more information lakeside-marina.com

Kayaks are available at a discounted rate to our guests. (subject to availability)

Do you have a boat that you would like to bring? Not a problem! The marina will allow you to sign a nightly lease for a slip starting around $25 per night. We will need to know this in advance to make arrangements.

The bathroom features an incinolet toilet. Please familiarize yourself with the directions on how to use this toilet as this is not something most people are familiar with using. If the incinolet is not used correctly, it is a very COSTLY replacement. It is not complicated- it simply requires using a liner before you use the restroom- EVERY time you use the bathroom. The directions are on the wall behind the toilet with the liners, so if you forget, the writing is literally on the wall (We will review this with you before or upon your arrival.)

If you are looking for things to do, you are in luck! We are located just a few minutes from shopping and several dining options in Morristown. Exit 407, the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains, is a short 30 minute drive away, so you can visit Dollywood or Gatlinburg with less than an hour drive.
Knoxville, Johnson City, Bristol are also only an hour away, so you will be close enough to everything but far enough away from the traffic and tourist traps when you are ready to relax!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

*Please note that we require a liability waiver to be electronically signed prior to your arrival. Once you book, I will send you the link to electronically sign the waiver.

Lake Cherokee Stay
Nestled along the Cherokee lake waters, this houseboat offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were met with our host Ashley who happily greeted us with a warm welcome and began to show us the property. The houseboat itself is charmingly appointed, with cozy furnishings and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The deck provides the perfect spot for enjoying morning coffee, or for our adventure a nice space to wet a line and fish the night away. Inside, the living area is bright and welcoming, The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, with two sleeping areas and a comfortable couch for a restful nights sleep. But perhaps the highlight of this houseboat is its location. Tucked away on lake Cherokee this location is great for any trip as it is located within miles of everything one would need for their trip. The private boat ramp was great for us as we brought our boat with us to be able to fish all over the lake. The owner of the houseboat Ashley is incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring that your stay is nothing short of perfect. From providing recommendations for local attractions to ensuring that every detail of your stay is taken care of, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I will be visiting again and recommend this property.
