The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place any trash bags in the large bin in the basement utility room and put the lid on tightly.
Please strip any beds used and leave sheets on the bedroom floor. Leave any used towels on the bathroom floors.
Put outdoor cushions in the shed and make sure it is locked! Please make sure all lights are off when you leave and that all doors are locked!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A heavy four-wheel drive (not All-wheel drive like a Subura) is absolutely required in months where snow is possible. Good tires are also required.
Absolutely no campfires or outdoor burning of any kind as it is prohibited by Park County for short term rentals. You can use the propane devices.
No loud music or other activities outside that will disturb our neighbors please! Smoking anything in the house will result in a $750 charge.

We are a family who live in Denver and love the mountains! With three young children, this is a fantastic way for them to experience the mountains and for us to escape every once in a while without the kids!

Why they chose this property

It is easy to get to - one hour from Denver - but is off the beaten path. The road is paved until about the last half mile, and there are nearby amenities, or we can be as secluded as we would like.

What makes this property unique

Few properties actually border the national forest. While we call this our cabin, it could also easily be a year-round house with all of the comforts of home.
