Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.

With two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 12 pickleball courts, 6 tennis courts, and three-and-a-half miles of uninterrupted beach, Fripp Island is an unspoiled treasure. Relaxation was much needed and host was very accommodating and made check in easy. The room was clean, and perfect for our stay. The location was perfect.

Upon arrival, we tried the door code 8 times but could not get in. Called for help, maintenance got the door open but could not lock it from outside-he called for technical help, discovered a router problem but did fix it. Room advertised a coffee maker but it was a Keurig & we brought grounds. Advertised free WiFi but no code to use it-even tried to contact host, no reply. No shower soap-only a flat bar size of a silver dollar, probably for the sink. Parking lot was a mess-so tight to get in & out.

The room was clean and easily accessible. The rooms weren't very sound proof. Luckily, the AC is very loud and created a nice white noise effect, and most people were very courteous and quiet. There was a couple below us with two very loud dogs that barked at everything, which is not the property's fault. It did make packing and unpacking and walking by that room very unpleasant, and you have to walk by it to get virtually anywhere on the property. Again, not the property's fault. The building layout was a little confusing, and it was slightly difficult to locate our room in the dark. Besides that, it was a perfect stay!
