★☆The living space is light and bright. The wall of windows brings the outside indoors. Focus on Love is located in a quiet, remote location. It offers the perfect getaway.

★☆ There's lots to do when you want to explore the area. Take advantage of the amenities at the Pine Mountain Clubhouse. Hike the nearby trails. Bird watch. Go catch-and-release fishing. And don't forget to stargaze, it's amazing here with no light pollution.

★☆ The vaulted ceiling A-frame has warm, knotty pine accents and upgraded flooring. The living space and kitchen area are bright and open, allowing for interaction while preparing meals and enjoying the views. The first floor has one bedroom with a queen-size bed and an updated full bathroom. Upstairs is a large open loft with a half wall for privacy and a firm, king-size bed. This Focus on Love includes a wraparound custom patio, perfect for enjoying the trees and views. Don't forget the stainless-steel BBQ for your own cookouts. The outdoor string lights create a romantic ambiance at night.

☀ The cabin has a wraparound deck with designer furnishings.After 10 p.m., all lights need to be off, and sounds need to be muted to maintain the area’s serenity. Besides, the rules are required by the Pine Mountain Club Homeowner Association. With the lights out, this is a wonderful time to stargaze from the outdoor patio or sit out on the porch and enjoy the beauty all around us.

☀ On back patio, we have provided a stainless-steel BBQ for your cooking experience. This grill is propane, so you won’t run out. Please note that bears have an extremely good sense of smell, so, for your safety, please cook and then scrape the grill down, bring all food inside when done eating, and, once cool, return the cover over the grill

☆★ Entry
☀ Keyless entry is available for ease. Your own code will be provided after booking. Codes are automatically changed after every guest departs the property at the end of their stay.

☆★ Setting There
☀ It's about 20 minutes from the exit off the Highway 5 Freeway. It’s 2 hours or less to Santa Barbara, Hollywood, or LAX Airport, and an estimated 45 minutes from Bakersfield or Valencia. Once off the freeways, the roads are windy, but well-maintained and paved all the rest of the way. The house has a paved, half-circle driveway.

☆★ Cellular Coverage
☀ Verizon works well in Pine Mountain Club. If you have any other carrier, you will have NO service except when connected to Wi-Fi at Homestay. We recommend you print hard copy directions before you leave your home.

☆★ Parking
☀ There is no street parking allowed in Pine Mountain Club. Everything is within a short drive or a leisurely walk from the cabin. Keep in mind that most streets here have a speed limit of 25 mph except for the main highway
☀ The driveway is large enough for 3-4 standard vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway or dirt. There is no street parking allowed.

☆★ Gone Fishing
☀ Bring your own fishing pole to catch and release on the small pond or small lake, where no swimming or boating is allowed so your waters won’t get roughed up. Bring your fisherman's tackle box and your patience and spend the day daydreaming away. Limited parking spots are available. Open park hours vary based on sunset and the weather. It is a 10-minute walk through the neighborhood by the golf course.

☆★ Location
☀ Pine Mountain Club is a remote, sparsely populated mountain village plopped down in the middle of a million acres of pine trees. There are other homes, but it’s incredibly quiet. If you’re someone who loves nature, but doesn’t like being totally alone in the woods, this is an ideal location. It’s also a stargazer's dream with no light pollution. Outside lights and sound must be off after 10 p.m.

☆★ Internet
☀ The high-speed of 150 Mbps+ is suitable for multiple people streaming videos, remote work, surfing the web, and answering emails. Please note, however, we are in the mountains and there can be some internet outage due to high winds or just because. If this happens, feel free to enjoy the games and other amenities at Pine Mountain Club.

☆★ General Store
☀ The store is open until 8.m. They will most likely have the basics covered here, such as socks, Tums, toothpaste, dental floss, ice cream, real cream for your coffee, or the best chicken or tuna salad from the deli.

☆★ Security
☀ In an effort to keep the entire property more secure and keep an eye on the bears, mountain lions and other wildlife, we have installed many security cameras on the EXTERIOR ONLY of the cottage. Please remember, we are in bear country and, while dogs and children are allowed, you MUST always keep eye on them. No exceptions!

☆★ Septic
☀ We allow nothing but toilet paper down the sensitive septic system.

☆★ Trash
☀ Please leave trash inside the house. Once you are ready, drop off your trash at the Transfer RECYCLE CENTER located at the end of Aleutian Drive. Check hours of operation, but on most days the center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:55 p.m.

☆★ Wildlife
☀ We live in their home. Always lock your card and doors. Don’t leave any kind of food, candy, gum, old coke cans, or anything perfumed in your car. Even the slightest odors can attract the wildlife, so be safe and act accordingly.

☆★ Fire Extinguisher
☀ The fire extinguisher is in the kitchen. We regularly check and maintain our fire extinguishers.

☆★ Fire Safety
☀ Being out in the woods, first safety is a very big deal. We have provided a fire extinguisher just in case, but no open fires using natural materials. Propane is used in the outside firepit with glass or lava rock.
☆★ Heating and cooling:

☀ This cabin is 100% electric. The heating is via a pellet stove and there are three electric room heaters - (1) in the bottom bedroom, (1) bathroom, and (1) to the right of the sliding glass doors. A large fan may be turned on to keep air moving during warmer months. There is a portable air conditioning unit, but the nights usually cool down.
