Very nice place. Beautiful views!!! The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to drive off site to switch towels which was a bit inconvenient however; everyone was super nice at the location. Any who I’d highly recommend overall. Very nice place.

Pet friendly but it was obvious pets were allowed upon arrival. Be sure to arrive before the office closes or it may be painful and take a long time to access your rental of not.

We had a great stay. People we met were all nice. Gated community which is nice. Scott at the tiki bar was amazing. View from our balcony was great. You could see the Gulf of America and the Bay.

Honestly, this place was such a great find. The whole visit felt easy and relaxing from the moment we showed up. The balcony view alone was worth it — we spent so much time out there just hanging out, watching the sunset, and enjoying the breeze. It didn’t feel like a “rental,” it felt like our own little spot. The amenities were on point too. Everything we needed was already there, super clean, and way nicer than I expected. Plus, the location made everything simple. Stores, food, things to do — all just a quick walk or short drive away. We never felt like we had to go far for anything. We’re already talking about coming back because it really was that good. Definitely one of those places you remember and want to return to.

Great place

The stay was great! We loved the place. The bar stools were a lil wobbly and probably need to be screwed tighter, but place was clean and the view was fantastic. I’d book again

The overall unit, for its age, was what to be expected. Somethings need attention. The furnishings were ok. The refrigerator light is burned out, and no ice bucket for ice. The master bed room was noticeable warmer and very noisy when its windy do due the windows in the room. They need to be replaced. They kept the misses up at night with the howling & noise. No issues with the other room. Nice outside recreation, three pools, plenty of chase lounges to enjoy the pool. Our biggest disappointment was with SPI rentals. The unit was not clean, sand throughout the unit, hair and dead flies by the windows. We called the first morning of our stay to request house keeping to come and clean the floors & bathroom areas. The said they would send out a crew in the next few hours, witch never came. Our first stay at Sadia, not to the Island. I'd try Sadia again, but will avoid using SPI rentals as the go between. 2.5 out of 5

Nice getaway

Very clean, updated room. With perfect view with just enough shade, not full direct sun. Resort very nice, with 3 pools to choose. Beach access easy and beach itself very clean and clear.

Wow, thank you Jessica! This is such a complimentary 5-star review, we're truly grateful. We think the same about Saida IV 703, such a well placed condo in a beautiful island complex on South Padre Island. We love the spray off options coming off the beach as well, so nice to not track that back into your room. Please think of us next time you're ready for the next beach-cation, we'd be more than happy to host you!

Great value

Great value for a nice & simple family getaway. Would stay again. Lots of space in condo. Nice pools and direct beach access. Felt safe with gated in property and security on site. Comfy beds and living room furniture. Only reason for 4 stars (not 5) is the check in location not being onsite, the patio furniture could be better, and some minor “weather wear” to bldg, and in condo (paint/plaster/wood furniture) but not surprising for the climate.

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed your family getaway and appreciated the spacious condo, comfy furniture, pools, and beach access. Feeling safe and relaxed is so important, and we’re thrilled to know the gated property and security helped provide that peace of mind. We also appreciate your feedback about the check-in location, patio furniture, and some of the minor weather-related wear in the condo. These details are always helpful. We would love to welcome you and your family back anytime for another seaside escape!

Bigger than expected!

We were pleasantly surprised as most times when you rent one of these properties there small. But when we walked in the saw large and open it was we were excited. The other good part was that the master bedroom is on one side in that second bedroom is on the opposite side so it does give you some privacy!betwetoomsrooms

Good overall, but a bit worn

We enjoyed our stay. And the unit was decent all in all. Furniture was nice, but the decorations and unit were a bit worn. And the window blinds were missing a number of pieces, meaning people could see into our kids room, and morning sun shone into the main bedroom. Still, we enjoyed ourselves and the unit and location.

This location was a short walk to the beach with great views and amenities. However, we were relocated twice due to units not having working a/c. The final room had a strong mildew smell and sleeping arrangements that were not suited for our group and not what we paid for. We've attempted to reach a manager several times but have yet to get a return call.

Dirty but close.

There was mold on the ceiling. And the housekeepers didn't wash the dishes properly that there were old scrambled eggs in the frying pan and between the spatula. And there were some dirty socks under the bed. The good things are it's near the beach, and the heated pool was nice.

The check in office thought the room was ready, when we arrived the curtain was broken off the wall and tools were in the room. Just a little communication glitch between departments. Other than that was quite satisfied.

Good stay

Overall, the place was clean, the balcony furniture was comfortable, and there was plenty of space. There is mildew or mold in the master bedroom near the ceiling by the window. The TV/Cable set up is very temperamental. I think the space was good, but the managing company makes it sound like they are truly here to make your stay better, but both times I reached out to them during the stay, they completely ignored me. They did make up the sleeper sofa for us when I asked them to prior to arriving.

Nice property, but too many "rules"

Nice property and convenient to beach. Gated and monitored by security, which is nice but a bit too "strict". For example, we were kicked off tennis court for using to throw football with kids under 10. We chose the court because throwing in the grass around property could have resulted and stray through by a kid hitting a person walking the many sidewalks. Playing in 1 of the 4 vacant courts was the safest option for all guests, but were told needed get off court. Also, no kids in hot tub even while parent supervised and no other guests present. Again, nice and convenient property, but hard to entertain kids without "breaking any rules" when not at beach....

Would not recommend

We booked this property for 5 nights and left after night three. The pictures look much better than the actual property. Everything from the moment you arrive makes you feel unwelcome. The front door is peeling, there is black mold on the ceiling of the owners suite, the cheap coffee maker had burn marks, the toaster was rusty. Not any of the pots had a flat bottom to properly cook. Lamp shade in the living room is badly stained and the windows were very dirty. The entire place is in desperate need of renovation and to me, it looks like the pictures were taken years and years ago. I would not recommend booking this place.

Winter Warm Up

The condo is very spacious, is nicely updated and has an amazing view from a spacious balcony. It was clean and comfortable. The Saida facility is very nice with well maintained grounds and buildings and is conveniently located. The management company (Padre Island Rentals) was great to deal with and attentive to problems, for example: the water supply valve was leaking in one of the bathrooms - we contacted PIR and they addressed and repaired the leak immediately. Suggestions for future enhancements: (1) we believe the kitchen could have been stocked with a better assortment of plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc., (2) put a bare-floor vacuum in the unit so that guests can do a good job of cleaning up every couple of days and (3) put a "mat" or "shoe tray" near the front door to store sandy shoes. We have owned a vacation rental property for many years at a ski resort in the Rockies and have learned that the last two suggestions help to keep things clean. I highly recommend this unit.

Ed, Thank you for choosing Padre Island Rentals for your stay, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. I am so happy to see you had a 5 star stay. I know how important a clean room is to me when I travel, I am glad to see you mentioned how clean the condo was for you. We know that unscheduled maintenance can happen, we work hard to make sure we have a fully staffed maintenance department to react quickly to any guest issues that may come up. Thank you for your recommendations and pointers, I am working with our housekeeping department to make sure what you mentioned gets put in the condo. The best compliment we can receive is our guests personal recommendation to other travelers on our condos, thank you for your support and personal recommendation on this vacation home and our company. We look forward to hosting you and your family on your next visit to South Padre Island.
