Imagine waking up to the sound of the Gulf of Mexico waves and feeling the gentle breeze on your face. You look out upon the morning sunrise taking it all in and decide to walk on the beach just steps away. This is what you can expect at a stay in our beachfront vacation condo.

Experience South Padre Island
South Padre island has a great variety of activities sure to please everyone! South padre Island is visitor friendly year round and there are a myriad of many fun and interesting activities. There are many delicious restaurants to enjoy locally caught seafood or some will even prepare your own catch. Some even within walking distance. Explore the island from a golf cart, or bike around town or on the beach. You can also go horseback riding, parasailing, and explore the coastal fishing/ tournaments. Individual charter and group fishing trips are all available. Play mini golf, enjoy nightclubs, and have fun at a huge waterpark that’s only a couple miles away.
For the nature enthusiast and animal lovers, our coastal marshlands are home to hundreds of species of rare and endangered animals and are also a hotspot for migrating birds and ocean life. Visit Sea Turtle Inc., and visit the rescued sea turtles. Seat Turtle Inc. is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sea turtles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is extremely well stocked; we truly lacked for nothing. When we decided to stay in for meals, cooking was not an issue. As the condo is located in the heart of the Island, we walked to restaurants and the grocery. We were served awesome meals from each of the restaurants we chose. The balcony allowed stunning views of the sunrise! This location provides for a peaceful and relaxing experience!

The check in process was prompt and easy. The condo was just as advertised and as shown in photos. It was perfect for our week in South Padre. The view from the balcony was amazing. We experienced zero issues on our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Getaway

We found the condo to be clean, well furnished, and very spacious for the two of us. We enjoyed the sun rises and the view of the beach from the roomy balcony. We definitely would consider a return visit.

Peaceful stay on the beach

We spent 5 days enjoying the water and restaurants on SPI. The condo was clean and comfortable. The view of the beach outstanding. We spent many hours in those chairs in the photo, reading, watching the crowds on the beach and enjoying sunrise.

Relaxing Getaway

This condo is located in a great space in the building--close to private beach access, right across from the elevator, and on the same floor with the pool and hot tub. We loved the spacious balcony with double sliding glass doors--able to view the beach from the living room and the dining/kitchen area. It's quite spacious for two adults and a dog! Quiet and relaxing, and just what we needed away from the city and work.

Wonderful stay

They were very communicative both prior to and during our stay. We were on our honeymoon and our first morning as husband and wife was more than we could have imagined with the wonderful sunrise drinking coffee on the balcony. The condo was perfect for us. Everything was easy and ready to use. We are hoping to return next year.

Great balcony overlooking beach

The condo was just as described. The best was sitting on the balcony, drinking my morning coffee…watching people on the beach and watching and listening to the waves!! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative … but we did get several mornings of quietly sitting on those nice high chairs!! Also, the condo has great access to the beach…actually great access to everything with the elevator right outside the door!!

Transcendent beach experience!

On a fabulous road trip that included 4 national parks, the highlight of our travels was the 5 days at Tom & Bridgit's condo on South Padre Island. With everything we needed - full kitchen, cozy bedroom, bright & cheery living space, private in-house parking, we felt entirely at home in a perfect beach location. The sunrises and constant surf sound from the totally private balcony, the easy proximity to endless walks on the beach - heavenly. Thank you for more than everything we hoped for!

Great Condo

The views were amazing, and the balcony was very spacious. The unit was located near the elevators from the garage, and the stairs were just down the hall. It was super easy to take the stairs for getting to and from the beach, which was just a few steps out of the private beach access door. We did not hear the neighbors through the walls or while on the balcony. The building is close to the entertainment district, and lots of restaurants nearby. Check in and check out were quick and the owners were responsive and easy to work with.

A perfect stay

Can’t say enough good things. Clean. Quiet. Right on the beach. Amazing view. Owner was responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again. On a complete side note: don’t forget to double check your belongings. We left a special stuffed animal (a hand crochet Storm Trooper my wife made for my son). Even though we checked the next day the cleaning crew didn’t find or didn’t save it 😩. Props to the owner for checking for us, but do a double take before you go.

Absolute Perfection

This was a perfect place to stay for me, my husband and our little dog. It was right on the beach with a big balcony, good sized bed, updated appliances and nice sized bathroom. It was right by the elevator with easy access to the garage and direct access to the beach. There's a window in the bedroom that is on the hallway side which is a bit odd, but there are mini-blinds and curtains so it's still pretty private. We didn't hear any hallway or neighbor noise even with the window. Everything was very clean. The air conditioning worked great. Check-in was easy thanks to the emailed form provided ahead of time. Tom and Bridgette were perfect and attentive hosts. They checked in daily to make sure all was well. I have zero complaints about our stay. This will definitely be our go-to place to stay when visiting SPI.

Great condo and responsive owner

My family visits South Padre every summer and we have stayed in many Inverness condos over the last few years. We have actually stayed in this condo before under a previous owner, and i loved the new decorations and the little touches that made the condo special. My son called it “The Turtle Condo” and loved all the sea turtle decorations. The condo was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we needed. From little mats on the floor, to plenty of kitchen items, we appreciated all of the thoughtful extras. We did have an issue with water leaking from the kitchen sink, but Tom was quick to respond and get someone out to take care of the problem, including giving us extra towels due to having to use them for the water. It was a minor inconvenience that did not affect our experience too much. The Inverness although old is still my favorite place to stay on the island. The water was crystal clear while we were there and the weather was great. The only negative was the large amount of mosquitos on the property the first two days when we got there, but they disappeared pretty quickly. Great stay, and would rent again!

A room with the perfect ocean view and just steps from the beach

The proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony are well worth the stay. The condo is ocean facing so sitting on the balcony while drinking coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset with the gentle sea breeze was heavenly. The unit is very clean and comfortable but as others have mentioned the building itself needs some love. The elevator did break done once during our stay but was fixed within a few hours. The unit is on the third floor so we just used stairs- no biggie. I was a little worried that the unit is so close to the elevator because of noise but that ended up a non-issue. I appreciated how quiet the condo was. No loud neighbors but lots of friendly folks and families having a great time. The VRBO description of amenities is lacking for all of the things that this unit is equipped with. A full size refrigerator with a working ice machine, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, everything you need to cook except bring your own spices/ condiments (if cooking is what you want to do on vacay), indoor and outdoor dining options. There is even a bin of water/ beach toys. Parking was a breeze. There is a garage under the condo building but also surface parking for large trucks. Our host, Tom, was super responsive to my inquiries. At the end of any stay I ask myself if I would stay here again. Heck yes, in a heartbeat! We'll be back!
