Perfect girls weekend surrounded by fall foliage. We loved our stay here - the coziness of the fireplace, the comfy beds, the lounge space, hot tub, and our favorite: a little dock for waterside coffee each morning. Perfectly clean home, all as described and, easy, communicative hosts. Couldn’t have asked for any better!

Emily, morning coffee on the dock with the water right there is the detail people remember longest. Fall foliage, a crackling fireplace and the hot tub sound like the right ingredients for a girls weekend. The dock and the autumn colours will be here whenever you want another round.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean, cozy and had a beautiful view. We enjoyed sitting by the lake, kayaking, and taking long walks. Highly recommend!

Updated, clean, well stocked property directly on lake in quiet neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the back deck with serene views, foosball table in the basement, and hot tub. Host was communicative and quick with responses. Nearby town of Lee was quaint and offered abundant restaurant options.

We had a great stay at this comfortable, spacious, lovely home. The home was clean, uncluttered and tastefully appointed. The hot-tub was well maintained. Everything was as promised. We were impressed by Dakota and staff at Meadow Homes. Will definitely be back!

Property very nice - loved the fireplace which was necessary due to cold temps and very windy conditions. Cooked dinner each night and kitchen very well equipped. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed hot tub once but then became too windy to use.

Absolutely Perfect Fall Getaway!Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful extras that made it feel like a true retreat. Every room offered a cozy touch — from soft blankets and a fully equipped kitchen to games, books, and even little conveniences you don’t always find in rentals.The setting couldn’t have been more perfect for fall — the lake shimmered with reflections of colorful leaves, and mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee felt peaceful and private. The sunsets over the water were breathtaking, and we loved using the outdoor fire pit in the crisp evening air.This home truly goes above and beyond. You can tell the owners take great pride in making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit!

First, I'd like to say the house was very nice, clean, comfortable & well stocked.  The lake is another story.  The day before the start of vacation/arrival, we received notice from the Host that the lake had E coli!  For over 10 yrs we've always rented lake waterfront properties & have never had this issue. We know the Host had no control over this & was glad they warned us.  The lake was closed from Saturday to Wednesday.  This was more than disappointing as there was no swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding for us.  This is not a lake we'd want to return to.

Hello Carol, Thank you for your candid review. While we understand your disappointment and shared your frustration about the E.Coli at the lake, we do believe that leaving a poor rating for an issue that we have no control over, is not a fair way to rate this property or your stay. During the month of August in the summer of 2025, due to record drought levels, there were over 50 bodies of water in the state of MA that were closed due to high levels of bacteria. As you mentioned, the house itself was well appointed, clean and set up for a great stay. We do not have any control over nature, and the association that manages Long Bow Lake only has the safety and well-being of all residents and guests in mind. We reached out to the association regularly during your stay, to get the most current updates from their testing of the water as soon as they had one. When the E.Coli levels went back to a safe level, we updated you immediately, which allowed for you and your group to enjoy the lake for 3 full days. We also provided all of the assistance necessary for you to access other water spots nearby. Even though we knew it would not be the same as being able to swim in the lake by the house, we did do our best to make your vacation plans still possible. Considering the overall situation, we feel the poor rating you gave us is undeserved and were sorry to see it. Best, Meadow Team
