I was unaware how many steps from street to sidewalk , from sidewalk onto porch and then inside front door 17 more steps, just completed full knee replacement 6 weeks earlier. Over thirty steps to reach apartment. Loved layout and best equipped kitchen i ever experienced.

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The host was not responsive but would send generic automated messages while ignoring other questions. While the listing had it listed at “unit 2” it was unclear that this unit was at the back of the building and upstairs. Both the sink and the tub were clogged so bad the water would pool. I was able to clear the sink but didn’t even bother to message the host since he was unresponsive. My biggest issue was there is a door in the living room that seems to lead to a different unit or at the very least leads down some stairs. I could open this door making me think that anyone down there could as well. If it was mentioned in the listing as a service door or something of the sort it would have made me feel more comfortable however it was not so I didn’t know who could access it which is very concerning. The place was decorated nicely but I would not stay here or with this host again.

Thank you for your feedback. We respectfully disagree with several statements in this review. The concern regarding the interior door appears to stem from a misunderstanding of the property's layout. The apartment has both a front and rear entrance, and the door referenced is simply one of the apartment's secured entry points. Both entrances have separate deadbolt locks, and the layout is explained in the check-in instructions provided prior to arrival. What is most surprising is that the concerns regarding the door, plumbing, and host responsiveness were never communicated during the stay. The only issue reported upon arrival was a damaged blind and an odor concern. Had any of the other concerns been brought to our attention, we could have answered questions or addressed them immediately. We encourage guests to review the information provided and contact us during their stay if clarification is needed.
