The Hillside Hideaway is the epitome of privacy and relaxation. The 5 acres of privacy contains wrap around views of the mountains, but is conveniently located just minutes from town and lake access, and is less than 10 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance! There is plenty of space for the whole family and everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation.

This house and property were amazing. I thought I would not love it as much as a stay on the river but it was everything. House was very clean, beds were comfortable. The host was amazing! So many hosts are so controlling and great you like children. This host was perfect. I could not recommend this place enough!!!

My family and I had an incredible time, everything was cleanly organized and we had privacy, the kitchen is very spacious and had many pots and pans to prepare food, the bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, a games room and television in the living room, internet available, in general everything was very good.

Family Getaway

The pictures do not do this place justice.Its was a great property, had all the essentials and more.We used the kitchen to cook, we grilled, sat by the fire pit and relaxed in hot tub looking at the stars. The places was spacious and super close the sequoias and the town.We will definitely be back!

Great, large home on a hill

We stayed here two days (family of six), wishing we could have stayed longer. Fantastic spacious house, modernized and new. We felt right at home. Very clean and equipped with all the basics. The host had even set up a nice X-mas tree. It’s 15 mins from the beautiful Sequoia NP entrance.

Beautiful Place

We had a great stay. The house is very spacious and they had a Christmas Tree that made it feel like home. The house offers alot of privacy being at the top of the hill. The kitchen has almost everything you might need for cooking (no peeler or griddle). The location is about 15 min from Sequoia National park entrance. They have a local store about 5 min away that is very well stocked. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice Home, Location to Sequoia National Park

The home was nice and in a very convenient location to Sequoia National park about 15 mins to the entrance. The home comes equipped with mostly everything you need or would want during your stay. In this stay we traveled with family and there were 9 of us and we cooked while on this stay so I would say for us, the pots and pans available were not enough and at times had to wait for food to finish cooking to cook the rest of our food. The home did not come with some of the common appliances like air frye or rice cooker so if you utilize these I would say bring your own. Other than that, the home comes equipped with everything you need in the kitchen even some spices, oil, coffee, creamer, plastic cutlery, some condiments like ketchup, mustard etc. Also, I would say if you are coming in the colder months (we came during a storm and it was chili, snow in sequoia park) bring blankets because those are not provided and home does get chilly. Luckily we came prepared with that. The property location is nice because it’s on a hill in a corner a good distance from the next home over and you get that privacy. The home is a little dated inside and out but that did not make a difference in our stay but it is something to note. The only reason I took a star away was because the communication leading up to our stay was lacking and a couple times I had to reach out to customer care about host not replying to my messages. This created some stress and a lot of back and forth messaging.

Perfect for a large family, so spacious and plenty of beds. Kids loved playing outside in the open space and swing set. Had everything we needed, would definitely recommend.

The driveway leading up to the house on property had several potholes hence if you have a standard car or Tesla that’s not an suv be prepared for potential tire damage. Also the tree in the same driveway area which ended up scratching up my car.
