Sister cabin to Sunbeam Mountain Vista (combine bookings for bigger gatherings)
Find comfort, deliciously fresh air, and tranquility at the beautiful Sunglow Mountain Vista — to say nothing of arresting views (there is a reason “mountain vista” is right in the name!)
We promise you and your family or group of friends will enjoy an unforgettable mountain getaway and some well deserved R&R at this stunning, newly-built cabin (paint is barely dry — February, 2024). Should you want to bring family and friends, or have a bigger get-together in mind — bachelor/ette parties, reunions, company retreats, or just a good ole’ hootenanny with all the homies — Sunbeam Mountain Vista, the sister cabin, is a hop and skip away and can be booked in combination.
No mountain retreat is complete without nights of perfect rest. There are three bedrooms and a loft, all with beds that are too comfy to leave. For the kiddos, and/or your still-single middle-aged friend, Tony, there are bunk beds.
You and your crew will meet every morning (or afternoon, depending on how the night before went) in the modern, fully-stocked kitchen for coffee and eggs n’ bacon (or seeds and tofu, for the vegans) to figure out how you will be spending a perfect Blue Ridge Mountains day.
The wraparound porches are an ideal place to hang out with your steaming mug or frosty beer and take in the unspeakable beauty of your surroundings. Sunsets here are nothing short of magical — sunrises, too, when the night’s dew is still drying on the leaves and local wildlife begins to stir and welcome a new day.
On a star-speckled Georgia night, nothing beats a soak in the outdoor hot tub.
Champagne optional (author’s note: no, it isn’t.)
There are rental cabins… then there is Sunglow Mountain Vista: an upscale escape for the selective guests. This modern take on the woods lodge has all the comforts and elegance of a high end new home, combined with a back-to-nature rustic coziness.
We built Sunglow and Sunbeam with togetherness in mind. These cabins, whether booked together or separately, are to be shared with the people you care about. Somewhere between the cheers of fierce competition coming from the game room, the laughter around the firepit, or the contented silence of a group of friends devouring ribs and burgers still sizzling from the barbecue… You and yours will make memories that will last a lifetime.
Pro Tips & Local Wisdom
Grab firewood on your way to the cabin
Feeling adventurous? Take a ride on The Scenic Railway (hint: the name’s not overstating it)
Sip the best of what Georgia viticulture has to offer at Serenberry Vineyards
Keep the doctor away — and take in the views — at Mercier Orchards, the state’s largest apple orchard
Hike the Benton MacKaye Trail a short half mile (round trip) and explore the cascading Fall Branch Falls waterfall in a shady, mossy forest (yes, it’s as magical as it sounds)
Do you BELIEVE? Visit Expedition: Bigfoot, The Sasquatch Museum, “North Georgia's ‘Biggest’ Family Attraction”
Not your daddy’s creek: grab a paddle and kayak down the Toccoa River
Lace up your boots and explore 867,000 acres of scenery, history, and culture at Chattahoochee-Oconee, Georgia’s only national forest
