About this property
Pittsburgh's Best View
This may be one of the most unique places you've ever rented with a view "to die for". As remarkable as the view is of the entire city, both stadiums, and much more, the interior will provide just as much to tell your friends about. High end appliances and full of unique art create a one-of-a-kind space. This is our full time home, but now that we are both retired, we travel for extended periods, and those few windows we have opened to rent. Ideal for 2 couples or a small family.
The space
Kitchen and bar area are brand new as of 2018 as well as both beds. Bedrooms are upstairs - 14 steps from the front entrance of the house. Laundry is upstairs as well. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms. Kitchen is 4 stairs below the Bar/Lounge area. The half bathroom is 5 steps below the Kitchen and the Living Room is 5 steps below the half bath. There are smart TVs in the Kitchen/Bar area and there is a home theatre in the Living Room - projection and sound system. Uber, Lift and bus lines are all quite available all the time if you don't want to bring a car. If you like to walk, you can access the entire city on foot (as we do).
Guest access
We have a few closets and the garage locked off when we are hosting, but guests will still have all they need in housewares and areas for their clothes, etc.
Other things to note
This is our full time home, so guests can expect to see lots of family photos that we do not take down, as we live there more than we host.

About the host
Hosted by Gene (Gino) Nacey

We've hosted other properties in the past and have enjoyed the experience. Now that we are both retired and traveling quite extensively, it made sense to host our own space while we are away. We can earn money which is welcome when you are on a fixed income, and our space it so ideal for entertaining that it's a shame to let it sit unused.
Why they chose this property
While we are just a 30 min walk from the stadiums and the city, this is a very quiet neighborhood. Our street is like a semi circle that starts and ends on the same road so unless you live on our street, there is no reason to drive through.
What makes this property unique
Clearly our views of the city are what makes us stand out in a big way. We have posted multiple pictures to demonstrate this. Every season and even time of day the view changes. In addition, the view is not stagnant. There is movement all the time from the roadways, several railroads that are only seen when the trains are running and the sporting events and concerts that can just slightly be heard from the house all make for an immersive experience.
The uniqueness carries inside as well. We have multiple pieces of art that were commissioned just for our space. They are combined metal art and painting to depict 3 of the many bridges in Pittsburgh. In addition, we have unique pieces curated from all over the country in every room of the house. The bar area itself is our showpiece with a glass bar that lights up with any color light you choose. It's shape depicts a type of flow from the inlaid colors inside the bar to it's round surfaces, helping to depict water beneath the main bridge art.
