Located in the heart of Stowe Hollow!!! Close to town!!! Close to skiing!!!

Obviously, disappointed to read this review. We have one of the best cleaning crews in Stowe, who take their jobs very seriously, Unfortunately Vermont does have mayflies. They are in every house when the weather shifts and are usually found between the window and storm window, and sometimes inside.They are not an indication of a house not being clean. They have a life span of less than 24 hours, and can appear after a thorough cleaning. The couches are actually in good shape, but sometimes the cushions need to be fluffed. That’s on us. However we do have AC in every room, so there should have been no need to sleep in a warm bedroom. I spoke with the reviewer multiple times during her stay. Each time, she refused to let us solve any of her issues, including showing her where the light switches are( in log homes, they are sometimes in unexpected places.) She stated time and again she did not want to see anyone in person. “If anyone comes here, you will be sorry,” she said. The renter of record for this weekend was a man named Fatos, who said he wanted the experience of a log cabin in Vermont. His wife, who wrote this review, indicated to me she wanted a different experience. I assume high-end luxury. Some of our recent reviews are so positive they might give that impression. But, truthfully, we are still just a humble log home, that strives to provide a clean, comfortable, homey Vermont experience. I am truly sorry this reviewer did not experience that.
